Are they gonig to get a new field? Great facilities everywhere else at LCC. Should be nice to see.

The baseball team deserves a new field. Basketball and Football have great facilities. The baseball team should have one as well. Coach Dean will have them a contender and should have a good field to play on.

The Baseball field, was designed and finish grade, was complete. The site contractor, finished final grading as per the design plans.

 

During the course of building construction, the proposed baseball field was used as a "staging/storage" area and office complex, during the construction phase of the project. The field selection process, was proposed at several locations, from where the soccer field is, to where the parking area is and finally, agreed to place at its current location.

 

Hopefully Coach Dean and staff, can get their facility complete.

They need to get it under way. Don't make the baseball players feel like they're second class to the other programs. I know baseball doesn't generate revenue the way the football and basketball programs do, but these kids are still members of Letcher Central High School. If they have to use one of the old school's fields to play on this year, it may not be good for their morale, especially with the football and basketball teams playing in state-of-the-art facilities.

LCC has a great team as well and a great coach. Hopefully, we'll be able to play on their new field this upcoming seaso.

Been ther and don't think that is even close to possible. It is terrible to have such state of the art facilities for other sports and to leave baseball and softball in the cold. Any LCC fans know of the status???
