Walters should play along with Salyers who didnt play against Ironton and missed some against Campbell Co. Snodgrass is the only injured tomcat not playing.

Chad is helping with the football team at Ashland now I hear.

The 3 starters out against Ironon were Walters, Snodgrass, and Brian Salyers(DE,G). Salyers practiced today while Walters and Snodgrass sat out. I believe Walters will practice tomorrow.

Im not sure about the young Bonner kid being an impact player. He'll mainly be blocking.His brother is one heck of a player though.

I'd like to see a list of Ashland players. I can name a ton but i wouldn't know where to start.

2a is the weakest class in the state. Russell's district is a joke! I do not see Russell repeating this yr. and i definitely don't see them goin undefeated. I see them loosing say ohh maybe the second game of the season:sssh: :jump:

Ashland and the other teams in the region play on Monday nights. If there was ever a game on Saturday, it was only once maybe.

Im not sure if I would call those busted plays. Big plays are part of the game just like for expample a 4 yard run to gain a first down. I think Ashland will have to rely on the run alot more this year. The starting QB is still a question mark and until the cats get comfortable with the passing game again, they'll rely on the running attack.

Good post Graybeard... I see the cats being very improved on the o-line this year. They have about 9 lineman competing for starting jobs right now and all are capable of starting. Most of those lineman are seniors and have been playing for a long time. I expect the running game to take off for the cats this year.

He'll be a senior next year. Got some PT with the varisty last year and is capable of starting if McDavid does play QB.
