What does every think of this one? Ashland has been playing very well as of late and all that I know about Mason is that they beat Boyd. With that said, I'm going to go with Ashland in this one. Ashland 31 Mason 7

Good win for the Tomcats. I think GIAT might be right when he said that Greenup probably had negative yards. Nice start for district play, and its also good to see that the Tomcats can win even with Thomas not dominating the game.

Mahan transferred to Ashland before his soph. year and was the jv QB last year.

By the looks of that picture, Trinity has the nicest stadium I've seen.

To be honest, I dont know why. Maybe Ashland's D played tougher against Russell, or maybe they didnt? I still think that Russell is a more complete team than Belfry, and in turn they are better in my opinion.

No one claimed that Ashland could. I dont think anyone stated that Ashland could beat the top three teams? But I may be mistaken, even though I don't think I am.

Belfry has a nasty habit of fumbling the ball, especially during crucial times in the game, while Russell takes care of the ball very well. Also Russell has another thing that Belfry doesn't: Kasey Clark.

I dont think this will happen. Coach Hart will have the Tomcats ready, and I highly doubt that they will overlook another opponent this season.

Bowling Green 42 Warren East 7 Alot of the young Purples should see some playing time in this one.

Are you being serious? I am all for this area getting recognition in the polls but do you honestly feel that JC could be Bowling Green, or any of those teams for that matter?

I know that Coach Hart has the Tomcats prepared for this one following the bye week. Greenup will give them a run for their money but Ashland will prove to be too strong for them. Another reason I think that the Tomcats will come out with a W is that they will not over look another opponent after that Raceland game.

That looks about right except I would for sure change Belfry and Russell. I have seen both teams play this year and Russell is better than Belfry.

Bonner has been playing well in practice this week. It's still questionable whether he starts at all against Greenup but he will for sure see alot of playing time. Burns has been playing well at reciever and expect the tomcats to go more 4-wide along with Thomas against Greenup. Also, Slone has filled in great at FS for Bonner so there's no rush to force him into the lineup and have him injured again.

Brad Durham of Rockcastle, hands down imo...

Russell isn't really in the mountains either. I would consider the top rb's to be Dustin May and Shawn Grimm.
