Best Offensive Linemen in Eastern Kentucky

Featured Replies

Since there are threads about the best wide-recievers, best quarterbacks, ect. ect. I thought it would be nice to see who people think are the best linemen in the mountains. Who are the cream of the crop so to speak? I think we all agree that Brad Durham is at the top of the list. In my opinion Casey Allen from Breathitt County has to be up there as well. 6-1 300lbs. and is a big part of why Breathitt has had so much success. Those 2 are at the top of my list......What about u guys?

OL don't get much press individually, but as a unit, my vote goes to Johnson Central.

Big John Johnson from SVHS... it is a pleasure to watch this big man at work. Kenney broke for some big runs Friday, but it all was due to this man getting out front blocking! He also has turned it up on D. We will be watching him next year at the next level... I am hoping in BLUE, but he will be successful where ever he goes!

Ethan Gullett of Russell. He's not got great size but he will move mountains. He's Kasey Clark best friend !!!!!!

Brad Durahm Rockcastle

Kyle Carter Lawrence Co

Those two will be playing on Sat's.

As a group: Johnson Central

Mike Walters of Ashland has been starting since his sophomore year. He's about 6'3 330. Ashland's line as a whole has been playing very well lately, and has been opening up some big holes. But if I had to choose one I would go with big Mike!:thumb:

Corbin's Jesse Hayden, Just a sophomore but he is pretty dominant on the line. about 6'2 or 3 weighs about 280

Brad Durham of Rockcastle, hands down imo...

is that the louisville signee?

I don't know the kids name but IMO the best lineman you all have is the right guard. 62 i think? He pulls about every play what is his name and #?

Yes Brad Durham is going to UofL.

#62 is Scott Daughtery, he is a junior. He benched 185lbs 42 times this offseason at a combine.

is he the pulling guard? He is your best lineman IMO, Durham is a big ol' boy i would take that guard any day of the week over him, he will flat out get after you.

Yes, he is one of the pulling guards, the other is #50.

Scott has been starting since his freshmen year and suffered a torn ACL last year at football camp so he missed his 10th grade year.

Michael would get my vote also. Michael is strong as an ox, and has helped open up big holes for Matt Thomas all year despite playing with two bulging discs. He would definitely be a favorite of John Madden. :thumb: :thumb:

I agree. :thumb:

Raceland has a couple of bulls up front in J.T. Forrest and Brad Rogers. Both are seniors who moved to the o-line after playing FB last season. J.T. is about 6" 225 lbs. and Brad is 6"2 245. Not the biggest guys in the world but as far as speed and strength go I wouldnt trade them for anybody. Also sophomre Robby Logan ( 6"3 240 ) is having a very solid year and has alot of potential.
