Antonio was suppose to transfer to MMI to complete his final season of eligibility..Did they have a school this year...What happened to Antonio?

I thought that MMI was going to be "converted" from a military academy into a prep school, but the plans fell through. Maybe someone closer to the situation can clarify.

He is one of the best players that I have watched if he can stay under control. I wish him well and hopefully he will be eligible to play.

I was under the impression that Owens would have to attend a prep school to be able to play this season ... isn't he too old to be eligible under KHSAA rules?

Now waitaminute. I saw this guy play in a senior all-star game a few months back. How does he have any eligibility left????

That was the point of my question.

I don't think you'll ever see Owens in a d-1 uniform, and its not for Lack of Talent, too bad

My understanding was that he intentionally pulled out of Senior English last year at the last minute, so he could play one more year. Now whether his age keeps him from it I dont know, but he should still have eligibility time, because he only played one year of high school ball. If he does have eligibiliy left, then I think he should be allowed to play, he went through a lot leading up the his Senior year, and deserves at least one more year.

Interesting that he withdrew from Boyd County as soon as the basketball season was over. Once again the arrangement with the Ramey Home is a joke.

He is not eligible to play. He is going there to graduate, from what I understand
