Trigg County and Fort Campbell suffered huge losses...enough to knock them out of the top ten. I think OCath is a solid #2. Western could be a team to watch.

The far west may be struggling a bit this year.. However, 2A is always good for a suprise story on the far western end of the state.

OCatholic may be a little better on defense. The offense is only as good as the passing game goes and I understand one of the top RB's (Ijames) is not playing this year, because he is working on his baseball some more as he is projected to get a big time ride for baseball.

Trigg lost a lot but should be loaded next year. Caldwell Co. is a team to keep an eye on. Other than Owensboro cath., the west should be way down in 2-a this year.

Well I can only say what I have heard via the rumor mill and that is the Winklepeck kid who made all state as a DB may get the nod, but for what it is worth, I will believe it when I see it.

Very few baseball players get big time rides as far as scholarship money goes.The SEC and other D-1 schools have only 11.7 scholarships to give and they usually have to split those up.Golf only has 4 scholarships to give.D-1 football has 85 scholarships.

That would be nice but I dont see them being that high this year. I'll wait til after the scrimmages before I can determine how good they can be but they lost a lot that needs to be replaced at least on offense. The D was terrible last year but I think a lot of those guys are back so they should be improved there.

 

So whats the deal with Mercer Co? Are they going to be in 2A still after the merger? If so they should prolly be high in the top 10.

Ijames is a legit D-1 baseball prospect. His stats were down quite a bit this year, but a lot of that had to do with the fact that nobody around here will pitch to him anymore.

I have heard that it will be a Soph, Evan Walker. Saw him playing baseball the other night, and he is a big kid for his age. Probably at least 6'3" looks like he's got a QB build.

I think the Larue County Hawks could be back in the mix this year. They're in that tough district with Western and E-Town but could surprise. 2-A is always wide-open.
