I'm so proud of these kids. I'm so happy for all of them especially for the seniors. Congrats to Coach Lively, Coach Turner, and Coach Couch on a great season. Howard and Fugate stepped up big tonight I thought, I think Howard ended up with 18 and Fugate with 15. Thompson played great as well as did Kilburn and Watkins had his best game of the season. Dustin Flinchim(55) came off the bench and hit a big three and C.K. Howard played great as well. But I also want to tell the Tigers not to be satisfied. Let's keep this up and make a run for the region.:dancingpa

I agree with you as well. If it came out this way, the Lee vs Leslie game would be a dandy, and I think Jackson City would love another shot at Estill.

The last time Jackson City won distric was in 1934. But I look for them to make history on Thursday. JCity by 10.

Nice win for the Bobacts. I'm hoping they will meet the Tigers in the 55th District Championship.

Big win for the Tigers. Howard and Fugate stepped up big in this game with Howard having 25 points and Fugate finishing with 21 points. Watkins, Thompson, Kilburn, and Davidson all came in and played great as well. The Tigers are rolling at the right time. :thumb:

Great game Tigers. The 30 assists shows just how unshelfish this team is. It looks like they are on a roll now and hopeufully they can keep it up. :ylsuper:

The press worked sometimes, and then sometimes it didn't. The Tigers never did have a lead, but they pulled it close plenty times, and then a foul was called and Fleming County went to the line. I think Fugate had around 10-12 points, but in the second half Fleming County put a chaser on him, as well as Howard.

I think the OF your thinking of for Jackson City is Chase Thompson.

Tough loss for Lee. Can't take anything away from Knott, it sounded like they played a great game.

I know he got one for complaining to the refs a lot. I also heard that after the game, he was still complaining about the calls and the "bad officiating". IMO, I think the Tigers just outplayed the Musketeers in this one.

I would have to say Tyler Rich and Kenny Brandenburg from Lee Co, and Kyle Howard and Jordan Fugate from Jackson City. I know none of these players were ranked in the top players of the 14th region and in some people's opinions their still not. But I think they carry their teams really well and are a huge part of their team's recent successes.

It was a great game. The Tigers stepped up and made some key free throws late in the game and I thought juniors Michael Watkins and Dustin Kilburn played great games . Greenup Co is a good team, but I was disappointed in their coach's and player's attitudes. Anyway, congrats to the Tigers on a big win and their 9-5 record.

Coach Wright of Lee County and Coach Lively of Jackson City. The JBS coach should get some recognition as well, I just don't know his name.

What happened here? I figured the Owls would put up a good game since they were at home and Smith has returned. Anyway, congrats to Estill.
