NKY becoming too crowded??
I am living in Hilton Head and one day at work I met a man who was an assistant basketball coach at Mason County. I told him that I was happy he could bring a ring back to NKY. Then I told him and his family that us 9th region fans are arrogant like that- when we have top 10 lists, they aren't included. But if they are winning and looking good, then we have always included them!

Vee Sanford
Nice list, I'd put Johnson from Holmes ahead of McFarlane (those are pretty much the only two I've seen)

Vee Sanford
I wouldn't be too shocked to see him at UC, but I haven't heard too much

CovCath end of year awards
Agreed. On a board about high school athletics, who cares about a high school baseball team, involving players who have been discussed on this board all year long.

John Maronde selected in 43rd round
I don't know him, but I'd assume he is going to college, and the A's figured why not give it a shot at this point.

Bill Due
I met him once, a nice man. This is sad.

Brandon Housely To Holmes
FWIW it's worth, I was just kidding. Everyone in this thread knows that things are a bit different in NKY- we don't whine and complain, we just strap up and play.

2008 Covington Catholic
To be honest, I don't know if he will be practicing football, I'd assume he is. But I am not sure. I wouldn't disagree with him for playing only club baseball, and I wouldn't disagree with him for playing club baseball and practicing football. However, due to the fact that his future is in baseball, I would disagree with him only playing football as some people have said they believe he should do.

theguru, you know that in baseball, it is during the club season that the scouts come out. I don't why, but that is just the way it is. I don't blame Ice one bit for looking out for his future.

Isler's future is in baseball. I don't blame the kid.

2008 Covington Catholic
Coach B said don't respond to any theories by anyone named leatherneck :sssh:  I don't know what's going on, I guess the BGP class of 2007 (aka those of us who are really close to the high school) are gone. I only went to one game this year (the crushing defeat by Highlands) and I simply don't have that many contacts within the football program. I wish/hope that we have some posters here that can still update us frequently.

Covington Catholic/Dixie Heights Predictions
I'd say Isler, but they are both solid.

Pitching. I'd be shocked if I was wrong, but it has happened before. Congrats to chill
