I am not sure I ever recall a Harrison County team being manhandled like this at the regional tournament.

Will be interesting to see if the Visitor's Student Body is put behind the Home Team's bench as they were in the girls regional tournament. How in the world in an arena that sits 5200 do you put the opposing team's student body behind the team's bench?

Nothing to do with concessions, but whose lamebrain idea was it to put the student body of the OPPPOSING TEAM behind another team's bench. Do you have to be a brain surgeon to figure out it is not a good idea to put Bracken County's student body BEHIND the Pendleton bench on Monday night?

I will find out today. I know it was discussed because last year, teams that should have been playing D1 were not playing D1 and the D2 level was loaded.

Not sure there enough CC teams to make up two districts since on the girls side, Silver Grove has not always fielded a team and the KHSAA has shied away from creating situations that leaves 3 team districts.

Is that 95.9? I have listened to the girls' region on that site.

NKY Suns were 3rd last year and have improved. Don't overlook them.

I know Deming complained this year about how they were treated by the present coach when they were down by 30 or so in the 4th quarter and was still getting pressed. That is not right and makes it seem like new administration but same practices as the previous coach. I had hoped that things would have been different.

Mason County surprised about leaving starters in late in a game when they are up by alot? That is MO of Mason County girls teams. Buser did it constantly and my understanding was that Mason was up 30 or so on Deming in the 4th quarter and still pressing. You just are tasting what Mason County has been known to dish out on a constant basis throughout the 10th Region.

I would say should be a good game but I thought 3 of the 4 games in the first round would be close good games and they did not turn out that way.

Once the coach receives a technical, he has to sit down. The assistant coaches are not allowed to stand thoughout the game and coach.

I am taking GRC to put the rest of the region in the figure four and making them submit.

About the score I would have expected. First of the three games that ended like I expected.

Congrats to Coach Kelsch and Good Luck on Wednesday. Would love to see the Polar Bears playing on Saturday. Ladycats season long issue of turning the ball over gets them in their final game. Bracken out-everything Pendleton in the game and deserved to move on. Good to see Bubby's sister play well.

Keep counting those chickens. I know you don't want to play Pendleton again, since they have already beaten Brossart once this season.

Headlines in tomorrow's paper, Montgomery County's reign ends. Brossart by 1.

What a great tournament where 3 of the first four games, IMO, are toss up games that I wouldn't give any points to anyone. I think Brossart has as good a chance to win that game as Montgomery does. I think Pendleton has as good a chance to win that game as Bracken does. I think Scott has as good a chance to win that game as Mason does. All 3 of these games are evenly matched IMHO. What a great lineup of games. GRC because of the defensive pressure they can bring is the only team that I think is a little above the others. And that ain't much above.

I was told in that last game, PC was missing a starter, Senior Garret Farrell and it was a tight ball game after 3 quarters and Montgomery County pulled away. Added in the improvement that Junior Aaron Bonar showed in the districts, this might be a different Wildcat team than Montgomery County saw that night. I am taking PC 61 to 56.

12/1/09 Scott 42 Pendleton 39 Tibbs had 14 which I am guessing was her lowest output of the year. Pendleton can play some tough inside defense and with three girls that go 6"1" or taller, can pound the boards and make it tough inside.
