Final from the opening round of the 10th region tournament.

Boy, was I wrong about these first two games. I figured both would be close; both were blowouts. Guess papa doesn't always know best.

First tourney win for the Lady Bears since 1992.

Haight with 18 points, 17 for Sticklen and 12 for Meyer.

Solid, soild performance by the Lady Bears tonight. In my opinion the BEST first quarter played all season. Way to come out and set the tone from the outset.

The Lady Bears were by far the better coached, more fundamentally sound, tournament tested team in this one.

Patrick Kelsch does a great job with his gals and gets the absolute best out of them. After watching the first game, it was refreshing to watch a team move the ball and move off the ball, utilize V-Cuts, Jump-Stops, Pass fakes and shot-fake/blow bys to score easy baskets, utilize a side-middle-side press break, employ an effective ball-u-man defense and run an effective offense.

Great job tonight Lady Bears and good luck against a very good Montgomery County bunch on Thursday.

Well said Mustang.

Really going to miss these fine young ladies(the seniors) at BC, they have represented the county and community so well, sure hope they have a couple of games(at least)left in them. A couple of side notes, would like to see Coach Kelsch bring out or maybe borrow Coach Persinger's royal blue sport coat for the next game, had kind of a Johnny Cash/Rick Pitino thing going tonight:thumb: and Sara Sticklan is going to be a real treat to watch over the next two years in summer and winter.

I have to echo the thoughts of Papa. I was expecting two nail-biters tonight and got just the opposite--two blowouts. Bracken got things going early and never really let up.

Hannah Haight was her usual dominating self down low. Meyer rebounded from a difficult district tourney and ran her team very well. And agree with All In in regards to Sara Sticklen. She has been coming into her own of late and the future is bright for this young lady.

Congrats to Coach Kelsch & his team. Best of luck Wednesday night!

Congrats to Coach Kelsch and Good Luck on Wednesday. Would love to see the Polar Bears playing on Saturday.

Ladycats season long issue of turning the ball over gets them in their final game.

Bracken out-everything Pendleton in the game and deserved to move on.

Good to see Bubby's sister play well.

Congrats to PK and the gals!

You summarize games extremely well. You should go into broadcasting or something.
