It's very easy for all of us to coach from the stands. We don't see practice everyday and know who should play and when. Obviously if these players were ready for varsity they would be playing varsity. There are other ways to save players legs than playing more people. I have seen Scott a few times this year and they love to press and run up the floor. Maybe try a different approach and shorten the game. I believe they should save legs in the next few weeks with the district approaching.

Could see 9th vs. 10th in the 2nd round. Interesting! Pendleton vs. Holmes II or Coach Schlarman against his former team, Brossart vs. Highlands.

A 10th region JV game with bad officials. Can't imagine that!

These are the games that make you better in late February and March. The paper says they have Highlands and Pendleton Co next week. It sure doesnt get any easier. They have a very good chance to play at Mason in the regional tournament. Once you get there anything can happen. They need to develop a bench now and keep their focus. They can't get too high or too low after a loss or win. They have to keep working hard and improving. You can throw last nights game out because they were not even close to being at full strength. Hey Tiger1 how about a game report! I heard they were only down 2 with about a minute to play. Turnover and then a bad shot and they were down 6. Is this true?

Obviously he is still dealing with attitudes and different type issues. It's only his second (maybe third) year of running his own program. Give the guy a chance. He'll learn from his mistakes just like his players do. Sounds to me like he is trying to make them better people before he worries about making them better players. Sadly, this is the part most people dont see as TROUBLE SHOOTER put it in a previous post.

:thumb: If McCord and Sharp don't come to play then it will be hard for Scott to beat anyone. They both stood around and did close to nothing last night. Scott played a pretty decent first half until the last minute. The game was tied 29-29 and Holmes scored the last 7 points of the half.

Neither team will show much. This is the preview of their late February meeting for a trip to the fieldhouse. Should be a high scoring game. 73-68

They have a great chance to win the All "A" state. They will win the 10th A very easily. Don't count them out in March. They have to feel good getting the #1 seed, that just about assures them of getting to the fieldhouse. Once you're there anything is possible.

Its one game. You sure jump off the bandwagon quick don't you? Brossart totally outplayed and outhustled Scott in the 3rd quarter last night. Once Scott was forced to press the game was over. Scott had quite a few players not show up to play last night. I agree with Tiger 1 that only Sharp and Howard come to play every night and give it their all. Keep you heads up Eagles! It's a long season.

Will Holmes be fully loaded? If so, Holmes by 20-25.

:thumb: If Brossart wins they are the #1 seed, if Scott wins they would still have to beat Campbell Co to get the #1 seed. I believe they draw out of a hat if there is a three way tie.

Impressive that Scott scored 73 points with Howard only scoring 7. Makes teams think twice about only trying to stop him and him only. He obviously passed the ball off the block very effectively.
