No one handles Highlands easily in Ft. Thomas. You can guarantee they will play solid half court defense. Dont count the birds out Monday night.

I attended this game and St. Henry dominated from the opening tip. Congrats to the Crusaders on a big win. SHDHS and NCC will be a very good final. Have to give the edge to the Cru. Their guard play is much better and they defend very well. Also, you have to give the edge to Coach Faust in a big time game like this. CRU 58 NCC 49

:thumb: Brossart may be the best in the region but not the state. SG certainly doesnt have the best backcourt in NKY. They are good but there are plenty of teams with excellent backcourts.

So the loser of HC/CCH gets Holmes in the district? I wouldn't want to be the loser of this game. Anyone know where the district is held this year?

Instead of complaining about the refs why don't we give the teams and coaches some credit. This was a great high school basketball game. Both teams played extremely hard. Scotts lack of depth hurt them in the 4th quarter and Brossart kids kept fighting and found a way to win. They continually fed the big man and Uebel hit huge shots as he typically does. This was a hard fought, clean game. Looked to me like both teams and coaches have tons of respect for one another. They should meet again in February. As fans, lets hope that game is as exciting as this one was. Good Luck to both teams the rest of the year.

WOW! Beating a very very good Brossart team by 23 with basically 2 starters out. Miller only scoring 10pts. This is very bad news for the rest of the 10th region teams.

I don't remember saying Holy Cross and St. Henry are going to play for the regional title. I am saying St. Henry has to be ranked #1 right now. Holy Cross is improving each week and I'm quite sure neither Holmes or CovCath want that district draw. HC can beat either one of them. I would say Holmes has the best chance when Duran gets back but.......St. Henry handled them pretty good. Should be an interesting February.
