Scott 56 Holmes 45

Final.

I was wrong on this one. When will Holmes get their supended players back?

There suspension is over after tonight.

No surprise here. Scott would have given them a good game suspension or not.

Scott didn't play well but found a way to get the win. They shot terrible from the free throw line or this game would have been 18+.

Austin Hill is a very good player. When this young man gets Jefferson back along with the suspended players and if they play team ball, they will win the 9th region with little or no trouble. Holy Cross is in a lot of trouble when they play Holmes in the districts!

Where do they stand? Were they allowed to practice with the team? Does this interupt the "team" chemistry?

No, they were not allowed to practice with the team as far as I heard.

The answer to your question about "team chemistry" will be answered over the next few weeks. If the team chemistry is positive, then Holmes will be very scary and will win the 9th region championship in my opinion.

When is Jefferson scheduled to return, haven't heard much since he broke his leg.

Much agreed about Holmes... should be a very tough team if they all get playing together again. Would have rather seen Scott play them full strength, but I'll take the win any day.

Glad to see Jefferson will be back soon, I'm sure we'll see a different Holmes team by mid to late February.

Holmes suspended p;ayers were allowed to practice with the team. If you will recall Coach Henley gave them credit for practicing hard and getting the non-suspended players ready for their game against CCH in a post game interview.

Monday night at Ryle, we will see the suspended players back. Kinda feel sorry for the Raiders as they will come out fired up after having to sit out.

But as for the game, I was wrong, so congrats to the Eagles on the W. Suspended players or not, they beat the team that Holmes put out on the floor.

Now is where we'll find out just how good this team really is though because the suspended players come back Monday and Duran is back that Wed against Newport.

I think CCH will give them some trouble. They just beat Male by 10 pts. I do not know that much about Scott but, Holmes should have at least made it a game, with or without the suspended players.

Big when for Scott Sharp had a good game, didn't really have the best shooting night but keep everyone involved, he ended up with something around 15 i believe. Miller and Smith had great nights shooting the basketball. Austin Hill is the real deal and with any sort of help from the suspended players will make this team a contender.
