Keller Menke is an excellent high school basketball player! She is very deserving of this accomplishment in her life! Congrats Keller!

I would throw out Jeremy Anderson from Warren Central... One of my favorite high school basketball players to watch... And if I am not mistaken I think he is only the 2nd player to play in 5 consecutive Sweet 16s... Any body know the other?

The Bracken County Lady Bears had a really good week in camp. They finished at 5-3. They ended on a high note by beating a Princeton team (from Indiana) by 20+ points after Princeton beat them by 9 on the 2nd day of camp. Very good camp and ran well by the Transylvania Staff.

Will this game be televised anywhere? What about tonights game?

Mr. Fraysure, Thanks for your request, but I will refrain this time. Facts are facts... If you can play, you can play, it doesn't matter where you go to school or how much playing time you would get if you went to a larger school. We all have our biased opinions and thats not ever going to change! I will say this... Jonathan Fraysure will have a very accurate top 10 list when its time and the reason why he does such a great job is because he does include players from all schools and not just one or two schools. Nice job Fray!

I know this probably isn't the thread to do this, but I am going to anyhow. I want to congratulate RUSS MIDDLETON on a great game last night at the Ohio/Kentucky All-Star game. Russ won Co-MVP honors with Ethan Faulkner of Elliott Co. Russ is going to have a great career at Georgetown. Good Luck Russ and Congratulations on a game well played!

You are right! Toliver, Behrens, and that girl from Conner can flat fill it up from behind the 3 point line. I enjoyed watching this game as well! A lot of great players on both sides. Ruff girl from Ohio (going to Stanford) was really impressive. They also had a player going to THE Ohio St. University as well as one heading to Vanderbilt. Both teams played a great game!

Final from Nicholas County's New Years Bash!

Paris didn't play their best basketball, but Bracken Co. didn't either! Both teams shot horribly and fouled alot on defense. Bracken just shot better from the FT line.

Final.

Bracken Co. raced out of the box early to a 20-5 lead before Bourbon Co. closed the game strong. Bourbon Co. outplayed and outhustled the Lady Bears in the 2nd half of this game and tied it at 40. With 11 seconds to go, Bracken Co. kicked it to Katelyn Meyer in the corner for the 3. She shoots it, misses, and is followed up by senior Alex Rogers. Her bucket put the Lady Bears ahead with 2 seconds remaining.
