Does anybody have a clue what is going on? Is Coach Kues coming back? Or did he get a bigger job? I have heard two names one a teacher and one a community member who I am hearing are wanted as coaches but have not heard what is going on with the hall of fame Coach Kues.........

After talking to a couple of the players on the team, I know he plans on coming back. As far as the teacher who is wanted for the job? I would guess it is someone who coached previously at another school but was let go. And the community member? No idea at all. Maybe you have better information. But the players seemed to be pretty happy with Kues as their coach so not sure why there would be a change unless he decided to leave.

Oh I agree 100%. I am a huge Ray Kues fan and that is why I asked. I was concerned that he would end up back and Brossart. Or that because they now had a teacher or somebody in the SG community that they would make a change. Glad to hear it!!!!

Just sounds as if someone is trying to stir the pot. While I am not sure who the person in the building that would be wanting the job, I would say at this point coach Kues seems to be very happy with the progress that he is making at Silver Grove. From 2 wins to 9 wins would look like progress to me:thumb:

With his coaching track record I think the program will continue to make great strides.

Could the person that is teaching at SG be Bev Smith former Bellevue coach?

I really do not think that you need to worry about Brossart because as long as Mel Webster is calling those shots this is a dead issue.

Why is it a dead issue if Mel Webster is there? I have no dawg in this fight, just curious from reading the thread.

Coach K was let go at Brossart in a very messy and public situation a few years ago. Mel Webster was the AD then and still is. I doubt he has changed his mind.

What was the situation if I may ask or can it be talked about here?
