With it almost 2010 and the new decade about to start, looking back who are the top 15 players of this decade? I'll throw a lot of names out there and no doubt forget a couple good ones. I guess some guidelines would be playing from 2000-01 season through the 2008-09 season.

At this level or the next? There have been some first rate high school players but not necessarily as successful at the next level, or in the case of Rondo, the next.

The question is was he good enough as an 8th grader to be considered a top 15 player this decade? I know he was really good, but I don't know if he was that good yet. Which I didn't see him play a whole lot as an 8th grader, probably 3 or 4 times.

Had a career high 40 last night for the Grizzlies. Pretty solid. And yes, IMO, he was better as an 8th grader than some on the list.

That wasn't my top 15 list, just a lot of names of great players I can think of.

Remember watching him play in the regional tourney against Russell as a 8th grader. He is all that and a bag of chips.

There were a few Mr. Basketball guys I didn't even see on this thread. Brandon Stockton was a very good high school player. Maybe not a great college player. Preston Lemaster was an incredible high school player. Chris Lofton would be my unanimous #1 pick if we are stricktly talking high school career. Matt Walls was another I didn't see on the thread. How about Bud Mackey?
