Well Graham has had a successful college career and was a great athlete. And Hicks' performance his senior year in the Sweet 16 was one of the best I have ever seen all around. He did pretty much everything for his team.

 

Hicks didn't play in Sweet 16 as a senior. The Cardinals got beat by Grant County in the District that year. Grant was lead by Tyler Jones, who Billy Hicks said was one of the best shooters he has ever seen as the high school level. Jones went on to play at Miami of Oh and then Georgetown.

I believe you have your facts long. I remember watching the Sweet 16 and Hicks being a senior and playing great during the tournament.

Tyler Jones graduated in '03. You're correct, he did go on to Miami (OH) somehow.

 

Tyler Hicks graduated in '04 from Scott County. That year they went to the State semi-finals before losing to Mason County. When Hicks fouled out at the end, he kissed the floor @ Rupp Arena. Pretty cool moment.

 

Hicks played hard, but he was nowhere near the most talented player on that Scott Co. team.

Jeremy Anderson from Warren Central?

I dont know where he ranks for all time points in a career for the state tournment but I'd venture to say its top 3

If you're talking about HS careers, I'd put Michael Zimmerman from NCC over Mark Krebs. Of course, that'll never happen because Krebs worked his way to a scholarship at UK. Just saying...

Another name that needs to be mentioned in this decade is Keaton Belcher of Pendleton Co. He is having a good career playing for Belmont University.
