Doesn't seem to be a real marquee matchup. Some good teams but no real great matchups in my opinion.

A bunch of out of shape folks. Last year a Ben-Gal schooled everyone on the court and the Channel 9 weather guy was jacking balls up left and right. Clearly he was the GUN back in the day. LOL

They really need to re-think having a "celebrity" game.

 

Last year it was a total embarrassment, not a bit entertaining, and detracted from the overall event. It will keep me away.

 

I also hope they retired the screeching elf - my ears still hurt.

I regret to inform everyone that the J-man will not be playing this year. Still mad the little guy from Furniture Fair was the first option to win the game last year when he had hit the only 3 of the game.

It was the Steve Raliegh and his wife show. She was the screeching ELF and he was the pot bellied gunner in the Celeb game. :ohbrother:

 

Like I said, Adrienne Hundemer(former state track champion at Dayton) and current Ben-Gal dominated the men. :lol:

I have been put in charge of coordinating the press table workers. I will be doing scoreboard/official stats, my friend and fellow co-worker Bobby Green will be the official scoreboard operator, and Kevin Schwab (former voice of the Florence Freedom and current voice of the Dixie heights High School football/basketball) will be the PA Announcer. The official book will be the guy that does it for Covington Catholic's basketball games...his name slips my mind at the current time.

Also, if anyone will be covering the game for either radio or internet broadcasts, please contact someone at the Bank of Kentucky Center or Coach Listerman at CovCath so they can help get you credentialed for the game and so we'll know just how many people we can expect to be working at the scorer's table.

Looks like only three teams from Ohio participating; may need to come up with a new name for the event one of these days.

 

Stats, if we attend Mason County's game I will try to look you up. I know the Royals enjoyed their time at the BOKC in the spring.
