I know this probably isn't the thread to do this, but I am going to anyhow. I want to congratulate RUSS MIDDLETON on a great game last night at the Ohio/Kentucky All-Star game. Russ won Co-MVP honors with Ethan Faulkner of Elliott Co.

Russ is going to have a great career at Georgetown. Good Luck Russ and Congratulations on a game well played!

What about the Courier Journal All State Teams?

They were in yesterday's paper (Sunday).

I always did like the Courier Journal's picks better than the Heralds.

Aaron Watts (McCreary Central) Second Team

Ethan Spurlin (Lincoln County) Honorable Mention

A year or two ago, there was an argument who is the better player out of Euton and Watts of McCreary Central. Well... based on the state selections, we see how others feel...

How did Polson from West Jessamine get left out of Honorable mention?

He being left out is a joke!!!! Aurgument could be made for others not getting honorable mention as well, but that could be said every year.

I disagree. They have 20 players in front of Ge'lawn Guyn and you have Corey Wilford who didn't make any of the 3 teams. I thought the Lexington Herald was much more accurate this time around.

Will someone post a lkink to the Herald Leader's All-State team?
