Why's that it's a 30 minute drive from Eminence. They could've had Frankfort the right tape on Monday if they wanted to. Game plans are made on Sundays and Mondays, Wednesdays a bit late. It probably was just a mistake Coach Fromyers a good guy, but it also could've been corrected much sooner.

I totally agree. This is not college, dismissing a coach in midseason on the high school level is not a good thing.

I actually pull for you guys when you're not playing us. Coach Miller is doing a great job there and seems to have the program headed in the right direction. Good luck this week against North Oldham.

Man it's a good thing Quan is the only player Frankfort has or this could've been real ugly. Hills marched the opening kickoff down and went up 7-0. Quan Weaver returns the next kickoff 95 yards for the TD Hill up 7-6. Dwight Tillman returned a kickoff and punt for a TD plus making a TD catch. Quan had a 71 yard TD run and also threw a TD pass on the half back pass. Not to mention FHS starting QB ejected in the second quarter.

Not to pick on Mayfield, but they got beat 50-7 and they're in the top 10. I realize it was to a very very good team, but only one class higher. If it had been 24-14 or something like that I could understand.

JV games are important and if kids have made it to practice and participated they need to play. There are different ways of looking at the wins and losses. If your varsity program is succesful then I think the importance of winning is not a big thing. If you're trying to turn a program around then the kids need to learn how to win somewhere. So I think in the turn around mode winning JV games is much more important.

When I played the coaches counted the votes. Read into that what you will.

Back in the stone age when I played at Frankfort High the team would elect captains for the next year after spring practice. It truly was an honor and you were basically given off field responsibilities of calling others on curfew nights and making sure team rules were followed. You lead warmups at practice and were expected to be the first in every drill,so it was an on and off field position. We got a star to go on top of our bars for our letter jackets. Most of the time only three were elected and every once in awhile 4. Alot of teams now have captains for game night only, that do the coin toss. I personally think this takes away from a very good leadership tool that coaches could use to their advantage.
