Wow, now that suprises me. LCA has whipped our butts 3 out of the last 4 outings. And Beechwood is the defending state champ. Now this should stir some debate. Thanks for posting this info, Ram

I agree but hard to determine anything after two games. You wouldn't find many in the WKY part that think Fulton City is better than Mayfield as of right now.

And to add fuel to your fire, Raceland has only played one game. A victory over 5A Ashland.

How bout those tough Bellevue Tigers ranked 4th. This is the highest I have seen Bellevue ranked in a few years. Raceland over Beechwood all I can say is wow. Beechwood is solid and Im sure this will be some nice locker room material for them.

I am glad to get the recognition and respect for the Raceland program. I feel they certainly deserve respect but I honestly don't get too excited about it. Good office water cooler discussion, the game is played on the field.

 

Right now I would probably agree with the top three, just not so sure in what order.

Not to pick on Mayfield, but they got beat 50-7 and they're in the top 10. I realize it was to a very very good team, but only one class higher. If it had been 24-14 or something like that I could understand.

That's why I argue that polls are for fans and games are to play. In December, we'll know who the best teams are and who were the pretenders.
