Frankfort pretty much dominated this game from the get go. Coachbuckett called an outstanding game with the same old tired plays. Mico Wells and Jordan Morgan stepped up for Frankfort as Quan Weaver probably played a total of 10 plays. Jordan Morgan was the leader again on both sides of the ball, and Mico returned an interception 44 yards for a TD. EJ seems to be back to100% hopefully Quan will heal up this week. There is no quit in Mayfield they played hard the entire game when other teams would have quit. Down 28-0 they score at the end of the first half and came out and drove deep into Frankfort territory before a holding penalty and some good Frankfort defense halted the drive. Frankfort then drove the length of the field and it was pretty much over. Congratulations to Mayfield on a great season and a clean hard fought game tonight.

We have a great deal of respect for the Mayfield program, which is what you all have. An established program that always makes a deep run into the playoffs. Coach Foley is bringing Frankfort to that level, not that we'll ever have the history you guys have. We all know it takes good and great players to get to this level and both teams have they're share of those. You all be careful on your trip up to the capital city, and happy Thanksgiving.

I thought just the basic district alignment was screwed up. I counted 5 schools not in Frankforts district that are a shorter drive than all but one team we currently play.

You can take rankings from different sources and pretty much spin them anyway you want. We all know when you take the field they don't mean a thing. Especially in class A where one key injury can change everything.

Well when you take a program from where coach Poynter has to where it is now you'll get looks from other programs. It's just a compliment to the fine job he's doing at Trimble.

It's a great set up Frankfort to LCA would be 35 minutes. Mayfield to Campbellsville would be less than Mayfield to Frankfort. Alot of common sense was put into thes alignments.

^ If we don't have a better turn out than last Friday seating shouldn't be a problem.

Mayfield has a definite advantage as far as experience in this game. First time Frankfort has been this far since coachbucketts senior year. Looking forward to a great game and meeting some BGPers.

Jordan Morgan plays tailback, fullback and middle linebacker. He is about 5'7" and 160. He gets to the ball well on defense and will hit you when he gets there. Offensively he's like all our backs good speed and vision and runs very hard. Our field is located in a neighborhood beside the KY river. Our visitor bleachers are very small 3 sections I think, but their elevated so you can see the field good. Our field is bermuda with the crushed rubber applied to it. It is 100 yards long and 53 yards wide and we have pretty good lights. It's kinda of unique where it's located, but other than that I don't understand the concerns. DOn't know if the crowd will have any effect as it was pitiful last night maybe 500 if I had to guess.

I say let's give up for the BGP rankings as consistintley being the most accurate. All I looked at was the class A rankings, but 7 of the final season poll are alive in the final 8. With the 8th team being in the early season top 10. Very knowlegable football people on this sight.:thumb:

Congrats Trimble on a very good season you guys have things headed in the right direction. Game was pretty much controlled by Frankfort. E.J. and Quan Weaver sat the entire fourth quarter to not take a chance on any further injuries. They both could've played if needed, but no sense in taking any chances. Frankfort played well as a team with everyone contributing, but Jordan Morgan had one heck of a game. Again congrats Trimble and keep up the hard work.

You're right my bad. My old eyes went one line above on the KHSAA sight and that 90's record was Oldham Counties. So Owen hasn't been very good for along time.

Like I have said on here what I knew of coach U I liked and I realize a 1-10 season is hard to stomach. After going back and looking at Owen's season records back to the 90 season whoever took over in 2000 has done the program no favors. Starting in 95 they went 10-1, 9-2, 8-4 11-2, 8-3 since 2000 2-8, 3-8,5-5, 3-7, 2-8,2-8 and 3-7. To lay the failure of Owen football all at coach Hockensmiths feet seems a little unfair.

I don't have a dog in this fight, and I do understand what it is like to watch bad football. I didn't know Coach U very well, but in looking at Owens record since 2000 they're 20-51 and that's not very good either. I do realize the kids played hard for him, but his best record was 5-5.
