How far will you go...

166 mis. according to Mapquest, with an unfortunate 100 of them on the awful WK Parkway. I pray my car can survive it.

That's for Bardstown at Ft. Campbell.

167 miles from Corbin to Newport. 168 miles to Cincinnati.

Bring me some Sonny's!

The Frankfort Panthers will travel 262 miles (one way) to take on the Mayfield Cardinals next week. Four hours is a long time on a school bus....

Actually, Mayfield will do the traveling to Frankfort as they are a #2 seed and Frankfort is a #1...Oh well:irked:

I must have looked at the brackets wrong. Thanks. :thumb: And it's a crummy trip either way. :creepy:

I'm not sure how far the Admirals will be traveling next week. Depends on which game they want to watch I suppose.

Belfry goes to Somerset - 177 miles and 3.5 hours

Based on some really quick Mapquesting...

The five longest:

262: Mayfield at Frankfort

252: Henry County at Paducah Tilghman

229: Letcher County Central at Highlands

203: North Bullitt at Lone Oak

200: St. Xavier at Marshall County

(Prestonsburg at DeSales comes in at 195 but could be longer depending on where DeSales plays.)

The five shortest:

40: Meade County at Male

76: Bowling Green at John Hardin

76: Henry Clay at Trinity

96: Lou. Holy Cross at Beechwood

98: Breathitt County at Russell

Good thread. Very interesting. Hope everyone has their gas tanks full now and can stay home until gametime. Prices are expected near 4 bucks a gallon soon.

Don’t forget the 10 minutes it will take to get through the gate after showing a valid drivers license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration and hopefully you don’t get picked for a random vehicle check or plan for about 20 minutes… :scared:

With this great new playoff setup by the KHSAA, I was just curious as to how far your team is having to travel for a "regional" game...........

Its so bad this year, that Belfry might actually have to play their next game in Ohio. Madness.
