So, who wins the rematch? Does Mayfield avenge their first district loss since the beginning of time or is Fulton City for real?

This should be a very good game. The proven champion against the new kid on the block.

I will just say it's hard to beat a program like Mayfield twice in one year. Good Luck to both teams.

Well, here are my early thoughts on the game. Mayfield has Logan Armstrong in this game, he made a huge difference in the Crittenden game last night when we spread it out with the pass threat or the run threat, and when he ran the ball he picked up huge yards!! This will force Fulton City into a different defensive scheme so it will be different in that respect. If Fulton City makes some of the mistakes/fumbles it made last night it could make it interesting for the cardinals. It really depends on which Mayfield Offense and defense shows up in this game as to how close it will be. Right now I will pick Mayfield 21-14.

Coach Buckett, would it be fair to assume the Frankforters are rooting for Mayfield to avoid the long road trip to Fulton? ;)

Coach

I think West is name calling, sounds like to me he is calling your guys doughnuts :jump:

We will have to take care of a much improved Trimble team first. But yes, we would rather play at home than to travel 5 hours to Fulton.

I think that Mayfield will pull this one out. Mayfield is the more fundamentally sound team and those are the ones that usually win the big games especially in the playoffs.

I think its gonna come down to the wire, so I guess I'll give FC the nod on this one...

Fulton City is playing awfully tough good right now. I'll take the Bulldogs by 8.

Anyone see the News w/ that hit Williams from City laid on the County WR? Nasty!!!

I did see that hit, what a lick!! Should be a great game, can't wait till Friday!!

Cards are 2 TD's better Friday

Surprisingly, the Cards are NOT sound fundamentally this year! They have had at least a dozen motion/illegal shift penalities over the last three weeks...:creepy:

I too this this will be a close game down to the wire...If Mayfield's pass "D" has improved they just might pull this out! Assuming they can punch it in down in the redzone!

Mayfield -25
