  1. They just reported it the news that is was a done deal.
  2. Evan Bell pitched for FCHS. He only gave up 2 hits. He retired the final 12 batters he faced in order. Kaelin Ammons was named the Most Valuable Player. Beside Ammons, Franklin County's Jacob Brackett, Adam Johnson, Evan Bell and David Kennedy were named to the all-tournament team. Joining them were Western Hills' Andy Fisher, Matt Hyatt and Nolan McGaughey, Frankfort's Josh McPherson and Brent Yancey, and Woodford County's Tyler Adams and Gus Sherrow.
  3. Dennis Ledford was named last Monday as the Head Coach at Franklin County.
  4. I heard it was made official today. Congrats to Coach Ledford!
  5. I'd be happy to take your money!
  6. Second Team: Hope Brown, North Hardin, 5-6, G Elizabeth Campbell, Lou. Sacred Heart, 6-2, C Adia Mathies, Lou. Iroquois, 5-9, F Haley Ratliff, Pike Co. Central, 5-9, G Monique Reid, Lou. Fern Creek, 6-1, F Rinesha Soaper, Henderson Co., 5-7, G I have watched all but 2 of the 1st & 2nd team girls play. If they played a game, the first team would win by 20.
  7. This is a good move for Hundley. Looks like a pretty decent staff taking shape for Montgomery!
  8. Miller looked terrible during try-outs. The kid from Trinity played really well, and he gives them some size and strength in the post.
  9. I like your 5, with the exception of Beckham. I would start Austin Hill in his place.
  10. Congrats to Coach Griesser! He already has State and National Championship rings on his resume, and I don't think it will be long before he returns the Indians to Rupp.
  11. He is considered a 5th year senior. The rule says that once you complete the 8th grade, you have 4 years to participate in high school athletics. He chose to begin that with a second year in the 8th grade, making his senior season year #5. Call it whatever you want, but that is the rule. Great job upholding the rules by the KABC, who ran the try-outs.
  12. I am not sure if he will be coaching. I heard he was going to work camps and clinics with Tony Franklin. Not sure if he will be part of the staff at Troy or not.
  13. Just heard that Coach Donny Walker resigned today at FCHS. He did an outstanding job rebuilding a FCHS team that was 0-10 the year before he took over the job. The Flyers made the playoffs in every one of his 4 seasons going 7-4, 7-4, 10-2, and 9-3. Not sure who might be in line for the job, but they are losing a winner. Good Luch Coach Walker!
  14. Final. This game wasn't that close. It was 20-25 most of the second half. Western Hills went on a little late to get the score under 20, but Bryan Station controlled the game.
  15. SC led the whole game. LC took the lead with 1:30 to go.
  16. A mild one. SC won the regular season meeting by 6 at Anderson, and it was a back and forth game throughout.
  17. FCHS had their chances. However, the streak is alive! Woodford has won around 60 straight district games, and I believe 7 or 8 straight District Championships. Pretty impressive!
  18. Great game! Congrats to Hills!
