They played 5 guys most of the minutes last night(Phares, Guyn, Euton, Jackson and Manning) Flannery played about 2-3 minutes, and Ford played 2-3 minutes. That was it for Scott County.

My point exactly. You just listed Scott County's 3 best players. In my opinion, Euton is 4th on the team. I have watched them play 4 times, and I have thought that everytime.

Euton didn't have FC's best defender on him. He did have someone of equal size, so you theory is not legit.

I'll stick to this strategy as my first option, but if I had to pick one, it would be Terry Smith.

None! I would hope that the rest of the coaches would wake up and vote to go out of region. Its not that they are terrible, but they know who is supposed to win. Too many of them are front runners. They call with the final outcome in mind. Go out of region, and they call what they see, not what they think they should see.

After seeing them both play quite a bit, I would say without hesitation that Holmes is the best team in the state.

Today was the first day since last Monday. They also move the Lafayette game from Tuesday to Wednesday night this week.

Just got word that this game will be played on Monday night at Franklin County High School.

How is Franklin County not listed here? They are 13-3 overall and 12-1 in the state with their only loss coming against Holmes on the road without 2 key players. They have a victory over #9 Mason County on a neutral court, and have played a pretty good schedule. The schedule does get really tough over the next few weeks, but to this point their resume is pretty solid.

With the impending weather, who knows when this game might get played.

Last year was the first time these two teams have played in the regular season in many years. It is not a yearly ritual, so I don't think FC or SC really consider it a rivalry.

Ugly & Poorly officiated game. Woodford slowed it down, and made Franklin County grind it out. Not pretty, but a victory which locked up the #1 seed for Districts for the Flyers. Next up: Scott County on Tuesday!

The only thing that continues to baffle me is how Mason County is 11 spots ahead of Franklin County, when they lost to FC head to head on a neutral court. FC's only loss is to Holmes at Holmes, with a starter and the #1 guy off the bench not available for the game. FC plays Scott County on Tuesday night so I can guess we will see if they are legit or not then.

Heard today that Franklin County was open.

FC didn't play well, so I am not using the officiating as an excuse - Holmes would have won anyway tonight. However, I must say that was the worst officiatied game I have watched in a very long time.

If you want a good record, schedule cupcakes. If you want to go deep in the tourney, you better play the best(especially the top teams in your region).
