  1. MUGGINGS???? Not sure which game you were at, but GRC got away with murder, especially in the 2nd half. Rogers, Zollo and Purvis had a combined 4 fouls for the game. Rogers should have had that many by himself in the 1st half. GRC had only 10 fouls called on them total for the game. GRC shot 32 free throws, compared to 9 for Franklin County. Right??? FCHS sure benefited from silent whistles.
  2. Frankfort is #1 seed with win vs. Woodford. Franklin County is #1 seed with win vs. Hills tonight and Woodford win vs. Frankfort. Woodford is #1 seed with win vs. Frankfort and County loss to Hills tonight. Hills is locked at #4 seed
  3. Franklin County @ Shelby County cancelled tonight
  4. I agree that its a two horse race, but its Knipp and Behanan battling for it. After watching all the top players play togehter with the junior all-stars this summer and in AAU, I think Behanan is clearly the most talented player in the class with Knipp a distant second.
  5. St. Louis is 10-5 against the Reds this year winning 4 of 5 series, and just finished sweeping the Reds at GABP. Their schedule is as easy as the Reds the rest of the way. They don't travel any further than Houston the rest of the way. They have 25 games at home and 29 against the NL Central, whom they have killed. They have Wainwright, Carpenter, Garcia and Westbrook, and are getting Lohse back on Sunday. They have more experience and don't have a second basebal mouthing off and then going 2-14 at the plate. Advantage Cardinals!
  6. My guess on suspensions: Cueto - 5 games Phillips - 1 game Molina - 1 game Baker - 3 games LaRussa 3 games Carpenter - fined Rolen - fined Red's Bullpen Coach - fined
  7. Say what you wish, in the end I will take actually winning vs. talking about winning everytime. Until the Reds can handle the Cards(St. Louis has won 9 and the Reds 5 in head to head this season), they need to keep their mouths shut!
  8. KY Sr. All-Stars Elisha Justice 17 Taylor Epley 16 Keisten Jones 13 Ricardo Johnson 11 Elijah Pittman 7 Vance Hall 5 Josh Sewell 5 Thomas Jackson 5 Colt Barnhill 4 Tanner Peurach 4 Will Evans 2 Aaron Watts 1 KY Jr. All-Stars Veontae Lewis 19 Chane Behanan 17 Jordan Shanklin 14 Donovan Kates 11 George Fant 8 Anthony Hickey 6 Robbie Stenzel 6 Timmy Knipp 3 Vinny Zollo 3 Remy Abell 2
  9. Sewell is on there. Congrats to Vance Hall! I heard Epley shot the lights out the whole weekend, and his play earned him a spot on the squad!
  10. Try-outs are April 16 & 17 at Campbellsville University.
  11. Kicked a rule, not the game. The two incidents mentioned are not even close to being the same. One affected a possesion, the other affected the outcome of the game!
  12. Vance Hall from Franklin County was the best player on the floor for either team. He was named MVP for the East Team. The West team MVP was Donovan Gibbs of Iroquois. I don't think anyone was keeping stats that are posted anywhere. They were keeping them at the table for the purpose of choosing the MVP's, but that is about it.
  13. I agree! I believe the bigger picture is the integrity of the association as a whole, and no action is worse that a little refiguring for one post-season.
  14. This post leads into my point exactly. The NFL crew you speak of did call games again, but they were suspended from post-season that year. They were held accountable for their mistake, and then they moved on. That is all I am saying. There is no way any member of the crew from the FC vc HC game should have been calling the very next game in the tournament or any game the rest of this post season. That is simply saying that the actions of the referees don't mean anything and they are not accountable for what they do.
  15. A typical high school game last 1.5 hours, so they are making $40 an hour. That's nothing to laugh about!
  16. I was calling him out, and the other three as well. If a kid makes a turnover or missing a shot, or does something else to cost his team the game his name appears in the paper and these are 15-18 year old kids. Bo is a grown man, and he and the other 3 should be held accountable when they screw up as well. These guys go crazy if you say something about a member of their crew during a game, so to say if one screws up it should be only him who is punished is ludicrous.
  17. I am not saying they should be banned for life or anything like that, but there should be consequences for mistakes. Every other profession has some sort of accountability for mistakes. Again, the BBA claims to be the best every year. When I walked into the girl's regional final and see Clayton Brooks, Gary Wilson and Kevin Letcher calling the game, you have to wonder . . . If those are the best 3 officials we can put on a floor for a regional championship, then there is no one that can argue with me that the BBA is the best group of officials. Mediocre at best!!
  18. I dont' want to beat a dead horse. Everyone has seen the video from the Henry Clay vs. Franklin County game, and know the refs screwed up. However, as the very next game in the 11th region tournament was set to tip off, I was astonished to see Bo Queen on the floor to call the Scott County vs. Tates Creek game. Is there no accountability for these officials at all? No ref from the HC vs. FC game should have been allowed to call any game the rest of the post-season. Franklin County was sure had liked to have another game, and I bet those 7 seniors and 3 senior managers would like to have had a chance to move on in the tournament, but they were denied that. There season was over, and at the very least the 3 officials responsible should have had there season concluded as well. Not to mention that Bo had the best angle of the player and the shot as time expired, and the fact that he did nothing to right the call should be enough to keep him off any of the rest of the post-season games. Every year, I hear how great the officials are in the BBA, and that they are the best in the state. Every year I say they are terrible, and with the latest round of poor judgments and a definite lack of accountability, I think it is time for the 11th region to go out of region for the tournament. The rest of the state can't possibly be any worse that this, and at least they would call without bias and without the large chip on their shoulders!
  19. That blown call was made by a BBA official as well!
  20. Kevin Walters made the call. Bo Queen and Dustin Music were the other crew members.
  21. http://www.ihigh.com/school23602/broadcast_115190.html You can watch the refs blow it with this link. Embarassing! If this had been a college game, the refs would be banned from the rest of the postseason.
