This should be a war! Hope the officials don't make it another foul fest. These 16 region officials have been poor at best throughout the entire boys & girls 11th region tourneys!

The only NoNo I have witnessed in this post-season in the switching of officials for the regional tournament. Watching the 11th region boys & girls tournament has shown how different the 16th region is from the 11th. The effort has been poor at best!

I would take Eriel McKee at player of the year over Cann. Anderson can win without Cann, which they have proved while she has been sick. They cannot win without McKee on the floor. She can hurt you a bunch of ways.

Heard from several sources that Matthew Yates has resigned as Head Basketball Coach at Frankfort High. Has anyone else heard anything? If true, who would be the front runners to fill the position with less that 2 weeks left before school starts?

Just curious as to what makes this a GREAT hire? Don't know the guy, and all I can go on is his record the last 4 years at Paris. 25-83 is hardly a stellar record, so why is this such a good hire?

I'm just glad that the KHSAA has allowed our poor little talentless FC team a chance to play such a superior group of athletes! I just hope we can keep it close for 5-10 minutes to make your trip down from Northern KY worth it.

This tournament is being hosted by Franklin County High School and will be December 27 - 29. Teams in this year's tournament are: Franklin County, Elizabethtown, Anderson County, Bishop Brossart, South Oldham, Owen County, Allen-Central, Bethlehem, GRC, Ryle, Richmond, IN & William Blount, TN

Should be a good additon for some lucky school! I know they have made contact with a school or two, but I don't think any place is final yet!

Agreed! Whether they interview anyone else or not, the job should go to Tommy Johnson or Nick Barton. In my opinion they would be the best options for the kids and for the school.

I think a top 3 would be: 1. Joey Thacker - Current Girl's Coach 2. Tommy Johnson - Former Asst. & Current Asst. At Lafayette 3. Nick Barton - Current Asst.

Johnson will get his points, but IMO Woodford doesn't have an answer for Ivey and Manning. The are big athletic guards who can score and defend. They can shoot outside, mid-range or take you to the rim. Greenwell will have to guard one of them, but I don't believe they can match up with both. Scott County by 15.

He has been dressed and warmed up in every game. The paper last week said he was returning Jan. 13th against Franklin County.
