  1. The state of KY will be a national joke if Erin Boley doesn't win Miss Basketball. She is one of the top 5 players to ever play in KY(maybe the best), she is a Naismith Award finalist for the national high school player of the year, and she has already been named to the McDonald's All-American Game. ETown plays one of the toughest schedules every year and Boley has scored over 3000 points with other great players around her who are scoring too. If they switched places, Boley would have broken the state scoring record as a Sophomore playing Jenkins Schedule.
  2. Franklin County High School January 2nd, 2016 9:30 A.M. Tates Creek vs. Fairdale 11:00 A.M. Lafayette vs. North Bullitt 12:30 P.M. Western Hills vs. Lexington Christian 2:15 P.M. Bullitt Central vs. Belfry 3:45 P.M. Meade County vs. Cooper 5:15 P.M. Henry Clay vs. North Hardin 6:45 P.M.Franklin County vs. Ryle 8:15 P.M.Mercer County vs. Simon Kenton
  3. The game I saw of Robinson she had 9 points and 6 turnovers. Not saying she is not good, but that game is all I have to go on. So it is hard for me to put her my top 5.
  4. 1) Erin Boley - ETown 2) Jaelyn Penn - Butler 3) Seygen Robbins - Mercer County 4) Princess Stewart - Franklin County 5) Kris McCune - Manual These are the best I have watched this year so far.
  5. Franklin County Stewart 27 points 13 rebounds Frank 10 Cook 9 Courtney 7 Arrastia 6 Kilbourne 5 Talley 3 Willard 1 Campbell County Jolly 13 Clos 12 Kramer 8 Keeton 7 M. Schwarber 5 Turner 2
  6. Holy Cross has a good starting five, but they have NO depth. Only played 6(and the 6th player only played a minute or two). No one was able to foul out or they would have been in serious trouble.
  7. Don't have exact scores but basically: Shelby won Lincoln County won Franklin County won Trimble County won Mason County won
  8. FC Hooparama at Franklin County High School Saturday, November 21st 10:30am Lexington Catholic vs. Shelby County 12:45pm Lincoln County vs. Cooper 3:15pm Franklin County vs. Cov. Holy Cross 5:30pm Casey County vs. Trimble County 7:45pm Mason County vs. Paul Laurence Dunbar
  9. Whose coaching them for summer ball? I understand they are playing in Frankfort tonight against Franklin County & Clark County.
  10. I guess Franklin County's defense had nothing to do with how SK played?
  11. It was on TV. It was LIVE on the CW in the Lexington Area. I watched it!
  12. Pretty poorly officiated games in my opinion. Several calls late in the Bullitt East/Mercy Game & the Butler/North Bullitt games were very costly & game changing. I was sitting near a group of officials and they even seemed stunned by some calls.
  13. I am not saying that Ashland is not good. They are! I have seen them play. However to remain #4 with 4 losses(2 in-state) is all I am questioning. Just think the 4 losses should drop a team out of the top 5. I don't think in-season rankings should be positioned based on potential, which is what I think this is doing. Many more deserving teams that could be in that top 5. I do agree that the LIT should show us a lot about these teams with ETown, Henderson, Ashland & Franklin County all competing with the Louisville schools. Should be a GREAT Tournament. Teams behind Ashland: 5. Holmes - No losses 6. Franklin County - No in-state losses & beat East Carter(who beat Ashland) 7. Mercer County - 3 losses to very good teams, probably should be ranked around Ashland(similar arguments) 8. Highlands - 1 3-point overtime loss 9. Butler - 2 in-state losses to good teams, but beat Ashland head-to head. 10. Bell County - lost 2 games by 3 points.
  14. I asked last week & I'll ask again, How does Ashland remain ranked so high with 4 losses?
  15. The two best teams in the state are playing in the championship. They have been the two best all year.
  16. After watching the 16th officials calling the 11th region, I wouldn't want any of them to do our games! They were poor at best!
  17. Out of the 16 teams playing at Diddle this week, I have watched Glasgow, Sacred Heart, Lafayette, Etown, Butler, Anderson, Shelby Valley, Danville and Clark all play this year. In my opinion, ETown and Butler were clearly the top 2 teams I have watched.
  18. The 16th region refs calling the 11th region tournaments have been about as inconsistent and poor as any group I have seen. I have never been a huge fan of the BBA officials but the difference in these two groups are miles apart!
