GRC scores the first 21 points of the 3rd quarter to take a 7 point lead.

GRC played well in the 2nd half . . . ALL 8 of them!

What an emotinal night. Hated to see these Seniors play their last game at home. GRC started Moore, Martin, Skinner, Whitton and Purvis.

 

A tale of two halfs. GRC held FC to only 4 points in the 3rd quarter, and only 10 for the second half with about 2 minutes to go. One of FC's players caught fire and sank three 3's against GRC's subs.

 

FC has a nice team that plays their hearts out and gives 100%. I really like that in a team. Best of luck to them the rest of the season.

Was a wonderful thing to see all the Seniors get playing time tonight. Awesome to see Whitten, Martin, Moore, and Skinner get the start.

 

Game as all Franklin in the 1st half, ALL FRANKLIN. But from the first moment of the 2nd half it was all GRC. Timmons for Franklin was quick, and had some great plays, and #2 (didn't catch his name) busted out 9 quick points right at the end.

 

Travis Purvis and Jayln Daniels were big in the 2nd half. They are wonderful to watch play when they are hot!

Hope #31 is OK, didn't catch his name. He went out with a ankle injury, but GRC's trainer worked on him and had him back in the game in no time.

He was quick and had an awesome 3 pt shot. He had 3 of them in a short amount of time.

Lot's of blocks by both teams. Daniels had a straight up S-W-A-T with got sent into the bleachers

Nice win on senior night. Classy move to start the non-starting seniors and guts to stick with them despite falling down double digits in the first couple of minutes. Some interesting calls by the officials. I am not sure I have ever seen the ball go off the rim and over the backboard and not get called. Franklin has a couple of nice young players that should be fun to watch for the next couple of years.

I think GRC would see some huge befits of playing Skinner and Whitten and Fatkin more in the playoffs.

GRC probably overlooking Franklin Co. Tonight. FC is very young, and was obviously overmatched but to their credit did not play scared. Robbie Stenzil in my opinion is the best player for GRC. This is the first time I've seen them play this season. Probably an off night for them. This game should serve as a wake up call if they want to go deep into the post season. Don't overlook anyone. Come with intensity from start to finish every night. Robbie Stenzil needs to be more aggressive offensively. He is being too unselfish in my opinion. When he is aggressive the rest of the team plays harder.

Sounds odd when the school's all time leading scorer is often too unselfish. Imagine how many he could have scored being selfish?

With what they let Rogers get away with last night it's a wonder he isn't the all time leading scorer.
