Once these two (Layne and Ponzer) get back I look at SK to be making a third run at the 8th region title. If they had played it might have been a whole different game.

A Holmes player tackles a SK player and then when the SK player is geting up the Holmes player kicks the SK player. The ref right their in front of it all and all he calls is a foul. I thought it should have been a intentional foul.

Simon came out nervous the first quarter in a half. At one point down 20 to 4 but once they got their feet wet it was a different game. Just dug to big of a whole in the first half.

Why ask??? Everybody already knows that Gallatin Cty is already going to play in the state tournament.

Like it was stated earlier. Anybody can get in it. The tourney is FREE for all teams in the state. Actually most teams have already started playing. The only teams in KY that starts late is the NKY teams.

8th Grade Middle School State Tournament at KBA this weekend (Nov. 9th - 11th). Out of the 28 teams who do you think will win it?

Kenton Cty schools use to let AAU play their games at the schools but since SOAS has taken it over and for practice it is getting harder to find gym time since the schools have started a 4th and 5th grade league.

Team B is still taking the ball out and the arrow does switch to Team A because the ball has been put in play. Remember the arrow does not changed until the ball is put into play.

If everything runs through Adkins it will be a loooong season. This team will be be built around Baker if he plays this season.

Then you would have seen the JV play the fourth quarter and almost pull off a win. Down 17pts to start the fourth and pull within four before they had to start fouling and end up losing by 8 or 9pts. The three that can hit behind the arc is: 1) Nathan Ponzer 2) Jeff Slavey 3) Langdon Barnes

Nathan Ponzer will definitely need to contribute but lets face it Brandon Maegley is the KEY to this season.

Did he grow over the summer? Because in the region tournament he was only about 6'1" or 6'2" at best.

I've seen this kid play since he was little and any of the three guards from SK (Barnes, Ponzer or Slavey) will have no problem guarding him. I guess we will see when SK comes to Gallatin.

6'2" is not big unless your team is under 6'.

The 9th must be really down this year if this is the 10 BEST the 9th has to offer.

Budman, I don't want to be negative but if you want them seen by a lot of scouts why wouldn't you send them out west where all the top caliber teams are playing and most of the scouts are watching. AAU Nationals are good for when they are kids but when they are 15 and up they should go to Vegas and CA to play the best.

I've seen Luke Stein play this summer and he is VERY STRONG. Is he still with the Jazz or is he now concentrating on football?
