coach4life Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 I've seen the Gabbard kid from Boone play this summer and he is very impressive. As a sophomore he is already among the top guards in the 9th. I'm interested to see how much his stock rises over the next 3 years.

CHSalum07 Posted August 21, 2007 Author Posted August 21, 2007 Eric was more of a spot up shooter last year but with Crews gone and Jayce Jordan out he will be the point guard on that team and most likely the leading scorer.

buttels Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 I agree he will probably be their leading scorer. Glad to be related to him!!!! He should do well this season!!!!
BGGreen Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Isn't Holy Cross's Corey Sorrell basically a 2 guard? If so, he'd have to be on this list!!
sic wit da ball Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Alex Hall is easily one of the top guards in the 9th.
greendevil Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Alex Hall is easily one of the top guards in the 9th. no, he might be one of the top guards, but he is not easily one of the top guards... could be 6 or 7th guy mentioned maybe even crack some peoples top 5 but he is a streaky shooter that is deadly when he gets hot and gets a lot of points off the fast break (aka patented Beechie Tech cherry picking...lol I'm not making fun of it, it works...)
