Any list without Drew Mcdavid is incomplete. He puts up a double double night in and night out. He is, in my opinion, the most complete player in the region. He bangs inside, gets putbacks, can make the pullup, run the floor, shoot outside, handle the ball, dish it out, and play D against bigger and smaller opponents. 1. Vanhoose 2. Mcdavid 3. Ferguson 4. No way is Ashlands student section better than cov Caths, I've been to some Cov Cath football and basketball games and they are just amazing. But Ashlands did put on a good show and are far and away the best in the 16th region. As for the game, it seemed Selby wasn't as big as a factor in this game as he had been in the previous two. Bonner and Mcdavid guarded by committee and did a pretty good job. By the way, Selbys athleticism for his size is amazing! This kid is 6'3 and probably 250-280 lbs and lead Boyd on some fast breaks beating smaller kids down the floor on the dribble. Needs to go out for football and a D1 scholarship could be on the table.

Ashlands student section showed up in full force tonight. They are definitely the 6th man, and give Ashland a home court advantage.

Mcdavid, Bonner, and Wilcox had big nights. Drew had 21 pts and 8 rbs, Bonner with 15 pts 10 rbs, and Wilcox's stats slip my mind as of now.

I agree with Kele, Ashland does have more weapons. Mcdavid, Thomas, Wilcox, Bonner are the usual suspects, but Coleman, Rose, Salyer have all stepped in off the bench and made some clutch shots. I think Ashland matches up well with Rose Hill. Ashlands players have the athleticism to run with Jackson, they are just missing someone the size of Euton. But Bonner and Mcdavid can go down in the post and bang with him, and can step out and guard him along the perimeter. Should be a good game. I'll predict Ashland 69 Rose Hill 64

Do these boys have a chance of getting on the field right away?

I heard that Tackett will be getting a full ride to Pikeville. I don't know much about NAIA but do they give full rides? I know that they have their own set of rules that are different from the NCAA.

Do they have any favorite schools then?

Anybody have any info on Kasey Clark, Josh Wills, Jacob Sizemore, Drew Mcdavid, Fields Davis, Luke Bonner?

Sounds like KCU and Pikeville College are going to have good recruiting classes this season, and that they are really going after the homegrown Kentucky boys.

Coach Biggs lets his assistance voice their opinion. If they see something wrong on the floor that Biggs doesn't see, they shouldn't hesitate to say something to the player or to Coach Biggs.

Bias is a competitor, has a great curveball, but doesn't throw that hard. But everytime he steps onto that mound he's there to do everything he can to win. Just an intense player. Moore is probably the best pitcher in the region, has speed on his fastball that no one else in the region can compare to plus great control.

Have Rose Hill or Russell beaten any of the big time teams that they have played?

Ashland came out inspired in the 3rd and played hard and finally got within 4, but then Cov Cath started pulling away. Cov Cath has a good team who can shoot lights out.

I say it will be a tough game, I expect Ashland to put up a fight but I don't think they will win. I'll say Cov Cath by 10-20.

I would like to hear some stats from some of these guys too if you please.

I think Fields Davis has to be mentioned in this. He may be small 5'7 190lbs but he can pack a punch, and was an overall solid LB for 3years at Ashland.
