My brother wrestled in high school so because of that I am somewhat fond of the sport. It is nice to see Ashland place an emphasis on a sport that doesn't receive a great deal of ink. Good luck to coach Love on his endeavor.

This was a nice article. I applaud Coach Love and his staff. This sport was almost extinct in Ashland a few years ago. Now they have wrestling on the rise with about 150 kids participating in the program (k-12)

 

I think starting kids young is a big key to success in any sport. When the young ones reach high school we could be in for something special.

It is always great to see the kids that dedicate themselves to any sport get recognized for their hard work.

The coach at Ashland deserves a thumbs up for taking the time to teach these young men.

Nice job by the Independent for doing both.
