Just got word from a friend that worked with the Frankfort organization and their top 2 players Tyler and Parker DeAgano have transfered. They transfered to Dunbar. Best of luck to both these boys.

What does everyone think about East Jessamines chances and team this year?

What are everyones thoughts about the 12th region in 2008? Who are the teams to watch for and who could come out as the new champ?

Should be a really good game, cant wait to see it.

I agree with you that this team isnt as good as those state championship teams were. But since coach Pardue has been there he hasnt been running the offense like he was during that span in which they were putting up 45+ points a game. I believe that if he were still calling the plays, as well as being head coach then they could put up those points and wouldnt have any problems winning several of the close games this year and last year......but im guessing it was his decision to hire Coach Davis back for a second tenure.

Not to take anything away from Rich and his accomplishments but his fastball is straight as an arrow. He reminds me a lot of former Boyle pitcher Derek Christerson except that Rich throws about 3 or 4 mph harder consistantly. When Derek got to college, his straight 90-92 got rocked. I know Paul will work on developing a 2-seamer because that is what he will need when he gets to the next level and beyond, which I am sure he will.

first, if you click the quote button under a post then it will autoreply to that post, just to let you know. second my experiences have come from being with former players, that won state titles with them and get no response or anything when they try to create a convo with them. I never said anything about player that quit I was just talking about what i have witnessed first hand with players that I have known and they get that response.

I dont know which comment you are referring to but is what I know is that both of those guys have changed tremendously over the past 6 or 7 years, they arent even the same people they used to be, the ones we used to look up to for guidence and knowledge, now when you see them and say hello they just look at you and nod and keep walking. I do know what I am talking about when it comes to their attitudes toward players since I have experienced it. And like Hatz said Pardue is a great offensive coordinator but is not 1/2 as good running the entire team. IMO.

I know several of the coaches personally and I know more of the players, 97-05, I have talked to them through out the years and the recent players have a different mind set, they hate thier coaches because they yell, cuss, belittle their players and do not ever compliment their play. They are always looking for negatives, and when you do this you will not have the players attention as well as their respect. There is tons of talent on that team it is just no being used this year or last year, Those seniors last year were Coach Smiths boys that he had developed as Sophomores and Juniors and who played the game right. These this year and for years to come are Pardues and until a change is made whether it be a coaching position change or a coaching attitude change Boyle will be barely floating on the top of the water just waiting to drown if nothing is done.

Yes, it is practically the same staff, except for the main person Chuck Smith. he of course was the head coach and the rest of the coaches fed off him. Trust me these coaches were totally different when Chuck Smith was there.

It runs a lot deeper, its the coaching staff since Chuck Smith left, they started doing there own thing and they always bad mouth their players, and put them down constantly, not a staff of coaches any kid should have to put up with!

The truth hurts..... Yeah, you have coaches who have been together too long and expect to win now because of the name, Boyle County. They were never the ones that won the games the players were! The coaches think that they win them when all they do is hurt the kids that they are coaching! Good job, way to be a role model Pardue, you as well Mason, and to the rest of you get out of there while you can and still have a reputable resume! Those two will drag you down, IMO.

I believe that as a new coach you would have to play to your teams strength whether it be power, pitching or speed. Slowly work in the other aspects of the game during practice but to start winning and keep winning I think that you have to start with the strength. As for the 2nd year though, you should be able to lead into the other aspects of the game and prepare a more balanced team. The reason for this is because if the team is winning then more players want to play. and out of the extra 15 that want to play, only 2 or 3 actually have potential. But you only field 9 so.... I as a coach do have a design for the up coming season and I already have work outs for pitching, hitting, conditioning, fielding and pretty much any other part of the game. I know growing up and playing h.s. ball that my coach would only work on hitting. during a 4 hour practice, there would be 3 hours of hitting, 30 minutes of throwing 15 minutes of running and 15 minutes of fielding. While doing this, the pitching was never really that good and we/they usually lost because of 2 or 3 errors/game.

Man I tell you what, everyone said it was the players from last year and thats why Boyle lost 2 games, but it seems like the coaches arent doing their jobs in putting players in the right positions on the field! Pardue better hope he can turn things around or who knows what might happen......IMO!!!

I dont know if they can beat Danville, but I sure know they are very fast and physical!

I say started the kids that are your bench players, bat them 1 and 2 or so on, then after the 1st inning, put in your studs. Problem solved and your better players are in the game at the end.

Well no wonder I didnt get that job! Oh well, in line for another!
