Great win, Cory Jackson has the fastest first step I have ever saw.

 

Mercer lost a little poise in the 3rd and 4th, but defense and a couple of big plays pulled it out.

 

Good for Mercer to be tested, I think alot of kids learned alot tonight. A couple of Mercer kids need to control their emotions, or it will cost them later in the season.

Man I tell you what, everyone said it was the players from last year and thats why Boyle lost 2 games, but it seems like the coaches arent doing their jobs in putting players in the right positions on the field! Pardue better hope he can turn things around or who knows what might happen......IMO!!!

But in all honesty, I doubt you have seen any teams from the east play, as they have probably not seen mercer play.. so right know who know how it will all shake out, but to think Mercer is unbeatable is crazy IMO, we heard the same thing about Ft. Campbell last year... did they play in Louisville last year? I dont think so!.. Any team can be beat!

No. And I believe that Russell has the best shot of anyone in the state at beating the Titans but Mercer's offensive and defensive balance is way ahead of anyone in 2A right now. I'm a neutral observer, by the way.
