He will probably pass his brother up since that is usually the main driving point for a younger sibling, but even if he doesnt he will most definitly have an enjoyable experience with Coach Shelton and U of Cumberlands. Best of luck to him!

yes they are and they work very well, you dont have to waste money on weights you can just fill it up with some dirt or sand and it does the job!:dancingpa

I might not be the guy you are askin, but a muscle bound pitcher in the thighs and calves is a good thing but with upper body you really only need a very strong core, which is abs and lower back. As for your chest and shoulders and arms you should always be able to be very flexible with them but the added velocity comes from the development of muscles that are not used on an every day basis. These muscles are targeted through the Jobe exercises. I usually did not ever use dumble as I didnt have much money, but I used tennis ball cans filled w/ sand and taped them up, work just as good. Also to use are therabands. They are a good workout for your flexibility as well as increase strength and proper arm mechanics.

i went from 79 consistent to 88 consistent from my senior year of h.s to the end of my freshman year of college. Baseball year round.

Just for your info those guns at professoinal stadiums are not accurate, I mean I went to a Reds, Dodgers game and it said Eric Milton and Jeff Weaver were throwing 83-86. Hard to believe huh... It is amazing how something mechanical can not work right or skew the information. And from my visits to Applebees Park, when I was in the media/electrical room the actual gun reads different from the gun on the scoreboard. The scoreboards in single A baseball stadiums are there for entertainment not factual evidence.

Yes, I am sure Paul, whom I know quite well, wouldn't mind telling me and I'm sure that the fact that I have known Rich and coached him before has no impact what so ever on MY opinion. I am just saying that I dont believe it and being a baseball person, you dont listen to scouting reports, you see them for yourself.

That is ludicrous. Rich is a good player but in no way did he touch 92 or upper 80's(88-89). I would need proof to believe that. You get it and I'll believe it. Rich will be a good player this year and will most likely flourish on the offensive side more than pitching, imo. Also I think that Boyle will have a decent team this year as well. The have Andrew Bertram anchoring the staff this year and is going to have miles of improvement from last year based on mechanics and knowledge of how to "pitch" not "throw", also he hit 85-87 his sophomore year then falling to low 80's last year. It will be a different ballgame this year though. I see great things from Boyle and Danville and believe that either one of them could easily win region.

I would just like to show that Boyle Co. played in all the games that are in bold except for the 2005 game in which the attendance dropped tremendously in 3A. I just wanted to point out the fact that Boyle brings in the fans and without them it just wasnt the same this year.

Steve Bertram is the Greatest, He floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee, oh my goodnes its the Greatest, Stevie! This man is an awesome announcer and there is no else that matches up to his status, PERIOD! If you have ever listened to him then you would know what I am talking about. And if you attended any of the Legends games their first year, then you probably heard him doing their games on the PA. Just a great announcer, man and even better father!

First off congrats to BE. Secondly are my thoughts of the game. This game could've been won by Boyle several times but they just did exactly what they did in last years Championship game, they just didnt make the plays on offense when they needed to most. Thats ok though because I am proud of all those boys out there, especially the seniors!! Their defense stepped up in the 2nd half, as well as BE's. And it didn't seem like Boyle ran the ball that much at all tonight. From a fans standpoint it looked like they ran the same pass play maybe 3 or 4 times in a row a couple of times tonight. They were looking to dominate with the pass and it just wasn't in the cards for the Rebels tonight!! Congrats on a great season fellas and may God bless your lives with everything you desire! I love you #22!!
