I like that Male, Manual,St. X and Trinity will keep the 3rd round gate versus the state keeping the finals gate. It will better weather and will still be for the crown. I hate playing the district foes 2 times but oh well. This has nothing to do with prop 20 whatsoever. It has everything to do with the poor little schools out in the state that have to drive 2 hours of a playoff game, to me that is one of the cool perks of the playoffs.

It seems to be improving with the venue change and the book but when it started it was no more than a fund raiser. It lets you compare yourself with others in the area true but there are so many there who have no chance to play at the next level.

All that funding is based on national Title one scores and the money has to go to the lower achieveing schools that do not get to handpick the best for their programs. If JCPS had a choice they would. It is out of their hands. Title one dictates all funding for staffing PD and technology. Fed Dollars.:thumb:

That is hard to believe with the school of Ag doing the field and only 6 games played there a year, no one else uses it. Maybe with the turf they will have concerts or something there. The Nutter outside field has it already.

No he means that with Coach Brown moving up you will have three excellent O-Line coaches in Glaser, Chitwood and Brown to spend the neccessary time on the small things that go into technique and cohesieness that an O-Line must have. Not everyone zone blocks these days, some teams still scheme and block many different defenses many different ways. O-Line coach at X or Trinity is tough due to the numbers each school has at that position.

Their double sessions make up for the reps that the schools get in their 10 spring practices. They will start Passing league prep stuff now though.

I am sure some still do but not many, most of the powerlifters do just that with Coach Traub.

I agree, I won sthe state 2 years at X in my weight class and it stiffened me up big time, got to western and had to lift totally different, with flexibility. Most of the football players at X do not powerlift anymore, they have their own program.

Seemed that way with the last call of the game against Crutcher.

With Pitrino and the Duttons Trinity is hands down the Favorite in 4A

There were more paid stipends than that at Fern Creek when I coached there. The school can pay more, JC provides some and the principal can pay some. The stipends are so low I do not want to hear they cannot afford it.
