Coach Jamie Brown moves to varsity at X

Featured Replies

Highly successful St. X. freshman coach, Jamie Brown, has been promoted to varsity offensive line coach, and will also serve as JV offensive coordinator next season. After returning to St. X. from Fern Creek in 2003 to assume the head freshman coaching job for the Tigers, Jamie got off to a rocky 0-4 start, but finished the season strong with six straight victories. He then followed this up with two straight 10-0 seasons, thus closing out his freshman tenure with 26 straight victories. Jamie has always demonstrated a keen offensive mind with a major mastery of offensive line techniques, and seems to be highly respected by his peers and all who have played for him. He has also served as an offensive line coach for the Louisville Fire arena football team for the past two years.

I'll second the Congradulations to Coach Brown. We all wish you the best Coach. You've done a great job in your 3 seasons as head coach of the Baby Bengals. You'll be missed there, but your expertise will be quit welcome at the next level and with the Varsity.

:thumb: GOOD LUCK COACH BROWN:thumb:

Congratulations. As a former BGPer used to call him, *The Legendary Coach Brown.

Congrats Jamie. A great coach but a better man.

Who is taking over the Freshmen program??

No announcement has been made as yet.

I heard Coach Brown brought a copy of the Louisville Fire playbook with him and St. X is working on it as we speak.

It shouldn't take Coach Brown long to incorporate the Fire's playbook into the St. X offense, they can't have more than a half dozen running plays.

I had to say it before someone else did.

Doesn't Louisville Fire play on a smaller field and with fewer players? He may have to make some adjustments to the book.

Too funny!
