They were talented and so is this Trinity bunch but Brohm made the difference. I saw him do things that no other in this area have ever done with the ball and how he placed it.

I am sure they really need my post for their motivation. I am sure that the last 2 years game tapes will do plenty to motivate them.

They were good also I know but Brohm could throw passes that 95% of the HS QB's cannot make and made him almost undefendable for HS athletes.

Brohm Owned X not Beatty as you can see now. Yes Beatty won the first game with Riddle I believe, but now that X has adapted to the oh so very complicated system Brohm was the other story. The QB calls the play once the defense is set and he looks at Beatty. The most effective way to defend that is move players after the Beatty call. The Mumme pun was talking about their less than usual physical play.

Johnson now that he has committed Football Suicide.

Trinity has gotten better making some changes as the year has gone on. The style of play that X has is just too much for this group of Rocks. They have gotten better alos. I know Trinity has improved but you do not get bigger and stringer during the season and that is why X whipped them the first time and last year for that matter. This is not the Trinity team you guys played for and they play with much more finess now. Shall I say somewhat Mumme. X will punch them in the mouth again. X 28-14

I did not know if they were unprepared as much as they were undercoached. You coach technique and prepare for what the other team does. X did nothing new. WC's O-Line gave the pass away every time. Their D guards did not even get into good stances. Their knees never left the ground. I haven't seen that many leapfrog stances since I played peewee ball.

Col in your case it is lack of many things that prevent you from beating the Xand T of the world.

I will predict that the reserves for the Tigers will not see as much action this time.

It was a go on all fronts until Western raised their price to 10,000 and they keep concessions. With the forecast of Snow the schools did not want to chance a small crowd and eat the fee. Oh well, it will be fun going to the place where I lost in the same round. Revenge could be good.

Hey John Hardin's Practice field did fine, Just pleas no "Country Boys Can Survive" Banners like in 1989.

I am not talking about Neutral in location but a stadium that is not owned by either school. I owuld play WC in Alaska if there are decent enough facilities to play with. A field with grass is the first. I would guess that WC had 5 home games in the season and this will be the 4th of the playoffs. How is the shape of the field. It was horrible when I played on it but I know that was many moons ago ('89). Where does WC spend their money, is it in the academic areas? I do not get what you are trying to say. Since WKU has field turf I doubt it would matter and the school will eat up the concession monies no doubt.

Amen, I like Spears but the rest of the guys with Bisig are not very good. The Trinity and X guys are too much on the homer side of callingt the action.
