WCentral has had a history of playing well against X and X has a history of not playing well when traveling west...WC and X have both had close calls all year and neither is invincible, but, imo, X may have a little more in the tank, come 4th qtr time...X 35 WC 21

Should be an interesting matchup. WC has a lot of tools, size and speed. St. X snuck in and out of Bowling Green early this season with the win over a tough Bowling Green squad. All the prognosticators will compare the wins for and against both teams and most will say St. X wins. The advantages clearly favor the Warren Central team playing at home and possible at WKU, officials from out in the state, longer travel for X, etc. WC should be able to go toe to toe and blow for blow with X. Manual has played WC in BG two time in the past three seasons and once in Louisville. The two games in BG were barn burners. I will have to plan on the trip to BG next week.

ST. X got a major wake up call last night!! ST. X will be more prepared against WC. But I still think that ST. X is ripe for the picking!!! and traveling to Bowling Green is tough on the kitty cats.

WC - 28

kitty cats - 21

I really like Warren Central and think they have a legitamite shot, but it just seems to be X's year.

Both sides could probably claim to be a team of destiny. X has had a few close calls, but they're still on track for their first undefeated season in school history. Central prior to this season was 12-148-1 when trailing at the beginning of the 4th quarter. This season they're 3-1 with a last minute win over Manual and last second wins over Marshall County and Christian County. They came from 21 points down to beat the Colonels.

I really can't objectively pick here. Everything my head tells me is that St. X is going to win but in my heart of hearts I just can't see Central losing. In the poll I picked X, but I sure hope my boys prove me wrong. GO DRAGONS! BREATHE FIRE NEXT FRIDAY! :fire: :flame: :fire:

St.X. had back-to-back undefeated seasons in 1974 and 1975 when they won state titles under Bill Glaser.

I could have sworn that others had said that X never had undefeated seasons. Oh well. Maybe it isn't destiny for X then.... :fire:

I like my Tigers!

Mike Glaser has never gone back-2-back or been undefeated. I think that is a credit to him and his program of developing the players and the team slowly. With that, maybe I don't know enough about Warren Central to think they can win. Is this team better than the 2003 DeWalt team? I really need to know, he was such an asset. I do believe that the travel and being away from home again, will allow for something to be given up by the Tigers, the question is, will that be enough? I don't know.

Prediction later.

St.X. had back-to-back undefeated seasons in 1974 and 1975 when they won state titles under Bill Glaser.

The St.X Tigers were also undefeated in 1956,1957 & 1969.

Do you really think that St. X wasn't prepared for WC? St. X has to good of a coaching staff and players to overlook anyone especially this late in the season. Maybe the other team was good and played a good game against St. X.

I think that JH has a good team and they snuck up on the kitty cats last night. Did they overlook JH? no but they dropped their guard!. I think that traveling really works againist this group of kids i.e. Bowling Green John Hardin etc.. Coach and his staff are a quality group but they don`t play the game!

This club is ripe for the picking and Warren Central will be a Giant Killer!!! :dancingpa

Another fantastic contender St. X gets to go up against. Nothing should be able to stop the tigers at this point, though.
