  1. They'll all play QB. Ammons, Tandy and Petrino. Playing with the same players around them. You be able to judge their individual talent a little better between these young men after the game. They're all deserving of getting the nod or they wouldn't be on the team. Ammons and Tandy will probably play on both sides of the ball.

  4. how did franklin county do with a new qb at the helm?
  5. The coach pulled the starters after the 1st inning. They scored 15. He did the right thing. The JV scored the other 15. FC batted through twice and then some in the 1st. FC needs some work as well. Not the FC's fault FHS had a bad game.
  6. Whoever gets the officials from the 11th, prepare to play football without pads.
  7. The great thing about Ammons is he is a team player. He will compete at QB, but will play whatever position is best for the team. He wants to win. You may not want to count him out at QB. He has competition and that makes a young man work harder to achieve his goals.
  8. Georgetown- two great QBs make for a nice depth chart and good competition.
  9. I heard Kaelin made an official visit to Georgetown today.
  10. Franklin County quarterback Kaelin Ammons was the big winner at the 11th annual Pepsi Gridiron Great Awards Dinner Thursday. http://www.wtvq.com/content/midatlantic/tvq/sports.apx.-content-articles-TVQ-2007-01-19-0002.html
  11. After doing about 5 minutes of research on the KHSAA web site: Rebecca Gray has 2,425 total career points. This season she has 278 points in 11 games or 25.2 points per game. In the 2005 Sweet 16 she had 17 points against Henderson County and 29 points against Lexington Catholic in the semi finals as a sophomore.
  12. Give me Ammons. Ammons played both sides of the ball all year and still put up big numbers running and passing.
  13. Not much in four years of dedicated weight training. Kids put on 15-20 their freshman year. These kids are 18 with elevated testosterone levels. 30 pds is very attainable. I agree with Oldone; whoever signs Ammons is getting a top notch player, class act, student, athlete and all around person. I hope for the sake of the schools not recruiting him, they don't play Ammons' team. One thing I can say for certain is those schools will be very sorry.
  14. You must be kidding. You had the game handed to you on a silver platter. Non calls for holding the receiverss and flags thrown for holding and then waved off. Please. The refs sure didn't hurt your chances. By the way, that is not an excuse, facts are facts.
  15. The Flyers need to play the game as if it were their last one. Leave everthing out on the field. Don't hold anything back and you will never have any regrets. Play every play at 110%. You can't take any plays off or Catholic will capitalize. The Flyers can win.The young men of this team have come a very long way in a short period of time. The players and the staff have made watching their games a pleasure. Beat Lexington Catholic and get over the hump! Stay focused and get the win!:flame:
  16. Huge win. Get focused on next week. Champions rest at the end of the season.
  17. I don't think the Flyers will be overlooking East this time. The Flyers should come with a good game plan.
  18. I hope FC shows up ready to play. This is the game that counts.
