Lexcath Vs Franklin predictions

Featured Replies

What are your alls thouthts about this game... Ammons is a threat in the pocket and with his feet but i think cath has the speed on D to contain him.

What do you all think?

Lexington Catholic - 46

Franklin - 17

LexCath will need to contain Ammons as a runner. I think he distributes the ball quite well to his receivers and backs also. However, if he can be made to pass the majority of the time, we will win. LexCath 45-28

Franklin County is a huge underdog in this one. The big question for FCHS is if their players believe they can compete against the speed of the Mighty Lexington Catholic Machine. If they have doubts they may as well not show up, because it will be a long night.

LC has probably already marked this one down as a "W".

If FC has the kind of mistakes they have the last two weeks it will be a long night for the flyers. FC has the potential to pull off the upset.

Lexington Catholic 45-24.

I don't see Franklin Co as being much of an underdog...Lex Catholics going to score some points for sure, but, they've been giving up a bunch too and Frankin may be a more balanced offensive team than they've seen with exception os St X...I like Franklin in a high scoring game...42-35

Franklin Co. is capable of pulling the upset but I don't see that happening.

Lex. Cath. 45

Franklin Co. 30

Franklin Co. 43 LexCath 38

Ammons to much to handle 300 yards and 4tds.....

I wouldn't call them a huge underdog at all. I think the winner of this game wins the District. Ammons gave Lex Cath fits last year and will be hard to contain again. In the end I think Lex Cath has too many athletes and wins this one to take control of the District.

Catholic 38

Franklin County 21

Franklin Co. can go toe to toe with Lexcath offensively, but the defense is a concern for the Flyers. The flyers just need to not panic if they fall behind and play CONFIDENT!:ylsuper:

Lexcath - 45

Franklin co.- 24

FC's defense and special teams will have to step up. The offense must take care of the football.

My point is with the mindset that FCHS typically takes into this game (without confidence and belief) they will be a huge underdog.

FCHS definately has the advantage at the quarterback position!

Yes Revere and Caldwell are very athletic and experienced. With regard to speed, I would put Frankfort's E.J. Fields up against either. ,Frankfort has nothing but speed and athelicism at the skilled positions. FCHS proved they could win against Frankfort's speed last week, although I realize that LC has more depth and balance as they are a 3A school not a 1A .

As for athletes, Franklin County has them at the skilled positions, Hicks, Hicks, Taylor, and Metcalf. All are very athletic, just not as experienced as the athletes for Catholic.

To make a game of it Franklin must not be intimidated by the reputation of the LC program.
