Lexington Catholic 38 Franklin Co. 35

Looks like the Knights are still King of the district.

Harrison County had an impressive win over previously unbeaten Anderson tonight and plays Catholic next. I agree that Catholic is in the drivers seat now. The Knights were lucky to win this game. They led throughout but never by more than ten points. Catholic had a chance in the second quarter to get a two Td lead when they got a turnover deep in FC territory but chose to go for the endzone on three consecutive pass plays when they probably should have been more patient. The Catholic Defense seems to be progressively improving and should really take charge in the rest of the district games.

FCHS lead 28 to 24 in the 3rd.

My bad.

Difference in the game were two plays, a kick off return and a punt return both touchdowns for Catholic.

Catholic can still make claims on "King of the district" but sister public school is cathching up. FCHS gave them all they wanted. Catholic's speed is not unbeatable by district foes..

They did not lead throughout as FC led 7-0 at the beginning of the game. I was not really impressed with Catholic's defense, they are definately vulnerable.
Sounds like a great game -- would've loved to have been there.

By far the most exciting game played in Franklin county's stadium in a while!

Two special teams TD's were the difference.I don't believe in moral victories,

but this game should boost the Flyer players confidence instead of breaking it.

Franklin County continues to improve weekly and will be much better going into the playoffs. If there are any FC players out there reading this, hold your heads high and work to improve! You may get a shot at redemption come playoff time!:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Franklin County still refuses to play special teams, it cost them big time along with missed tackles and a few mental errors on offense. Almost a win is still a loss, hopefully the two teams will meet again come playoff time.

Does FC have its best eleven tacklers on the field on special teams?

Donny "Franklin" Walker and Kalen Ammons definitely came out guns a blazin. But once again Catholic had too many weapons, and puts too much stress on the most important phase of the game, special teams. This was definitely the difference maker. Also Catholic must have gotten their kicker situation solved. Logan Payne was 5 for 5 on extra points and hit a field goal close to forty yards long. Kudos to Coach Letton and his staff for being ready again! Go Knights!!!!

Special Teams hurt Franklin co. all night... but when Franklin co. had the ball it was no stopping ammons... I didnt get to see the end, but from what I watch was a great game of football.

NO!
