What about going full bore when the offense is in victory formation? It's highly unlikely but "stranger things have happened." Until the culture changes I think it would be only sporting, however, that the defensive players advise their counterparts that we're coming hard. While we're at it, what is the rule about interfering with the snap? Is it legal to put a nose guard with hands as quick as a mongoose opposite the center to knock the snap away? I don't think it is but maybe a person with knowledge of the rules could weigh in on this.

You can buttress your argument for provincial voting by reviewing the non-selection of Rondale Moore . Admittedly, I am biased but then probably so were the voters.

Trinity had good balance on offense: 257 yards passing------260 yards rushing.

BG might be the best team Trinity has played this season. Was Charlie Ely hurt? I don't think he played for T. Did BG get a first down other than by penalty? BG's TD was pick six.

This is kind of my take on the game, too. I don't think Trinity will light it up against BG as they have against some other opponents. I think points will be in short supply for both teams. BG will come in knowing they can compete and ready to make a statement. On the other hand, this is one of the few games where T can make a statewide statement as well, since BG is ranked high in the state and is a non-Jefferson County foe. As the playoffs approach, It will be good for T to be able to play a full game not shortened by a mercy rule. It should be "good football weather" and I'd love to go to the game but alas I don't have season tickets.

It's kind of hard to game plan for your opponent in these days and times. This coach-speak has never been more true: "We're just concerned with what we do, not what they do."

Good luck to him. I know it's a long way off but what position does he project to play in college? I'd love to see him stay in state and excel for UL or UK.

Trinity QB McElroy was 10-12 for 188 yards and 2 TDs He did not play in the Ballard game because of quarantine. Eastern had 112 yards passing and -9 rushing. I think this might be the 3rd straight game in which T has held their opponent negative yards rushing.

This game is one of many re-scheduled for Saturday. It'll be fun to keep track of them.

Twenty or 30 years ago Boone County was the bell cow for NKY large class football. IMO there has not been a team from NKY to attain similar status since.
