Not so sure about Trinity and Cov. He hasn't shown any bona fides as a head coach to my knowledge. He was a heck of an OC at Trinity though and I believe a very good teacher in the class room.

In Beatty's tenure, there have been 4 seasons where X beat T in the regular season but then T prevailed in a playoff game: 2005.......X 48-16 ... then T 14-6 2007........X 24-15...then T 34-28 2008........X 30-6...then T 28-24 2014.....X 15-8....then T 9-3. All the playoff games have been tight.

Coach Beatty is 11-1 against St. X in the playoffs and 24-9 over all.

All this talk about how badly T will beat X makes me nervous as a T fan. I remember in December, 2005 (I think it was) when they played for the state championship and T won 14-6 after being trounced by about 30+ points in the regular season game. Let's respect our opponent and not get the big head. No team is unbeatable.

In order to get info we have resorted to turning up the volume to try to hear the stadium PA announcer and hopefully being able to see the first down sticks or occasionally the scoreboard. Another problem to me is that the camera does not follow the action well.

If St. X is down to QB #3 - being Mekhi Smith - Coach Wallace may not want to put him in harm's way by running him too much. I'm sure he is as tough as anyone but Trinity's defense is physical this year, maybe as physical a Trinity defense as I have seen over the years. I read where T may get 2 starters back who haven't played for a few games.....OT Gavin Malott (sp) and LB Charlie Ely. Both of these guys have D-1 scholarships. I don't think there is any doubt that X has improved considerably over the season especially on defense, so that needs to be factored in when analyzing the game.

That is impressive. Sounds like the time of possession had to be heavily in X's favor and could've worn down the NH defense.

Has the administrative support or other off-field circumstances changed in the last few years at HHS? If so, would a new coach ask that they be brought back to where they were previously?

I think I read where HC QB Geraghty ran the ball 37or so times vs. Bethlehem. NCC might want to focus on stopping him.
