Trinity defense dominated Tiger offense getting shut out. Tiger defense played well but got no help from offense or special teams. Trinity had a score off fake punt and X punt snap in end zone. Trinity offense played well against good St. X defense scoring 17. Trinity will play Male in Championship. Congrats to Shamrocks.

Not surprised by shut out. Trinity defense good as advertised.

X Defense not bad either. Offense has been tough to watch for 2 years. Hope we get that figured out next year.  Trinity very good, congrats. 

No running clock, but ill take a 31-0 shutout over anybody. Especially St. X!

GO ROCKS, TAKE STATE!!! #27 is on the horizon.

Great job Rocks. Two wins over X this year and combined score of 79-10. Love it. Now go take State.

Tiger defense from the sound of it played very tough just couldn't get much from the offense or special teams, but Trinity had a lot to do with that. Overall good season for the Tigers; got better each week. Take some time to reflect about the season then get back to work for next season.  

Just want to thank all those who pick against Trinity every week. I've been letting them know.

I agree.   I think  X  made substantial improvement over the course of the season.   I understand they are very young.....will be a force next year.

Sounds like a broken record but Trinity's defense is as good as advertised - maybe better.

And those big dudes up front really make things go.

Offense didn't play very well but well enough to win. Special teams were very good - loved the fake punt - and defense was awesome.

St. X defense played well.

I was very disappointed in St. X on offense. I know the QB situation wasn't anything they could control but almost seemed like the game plan was let's not get a running clock put on us. Just took so long and none of those plays seemed to imaginative.

Feels like we have this conversation annually now. Watching Trinity’s approach on offense under Beatty and comparing it to St. Xavier is like night and day.
