Final per the update thread.

Ashland defense had Belfry scouted to a science. Unbelievable performance by the Tomcats defense!

Don’t stomp on the A. Belfry disrespected the Cats and Putnam stadium. Belfry still hasn’t won at Putnam since 1989

Belfry

42 carries,  155 yards

Dixon 22 carries, 81 yards

Ashland

33 carries, 170 yards

Congratulations to Ashland.

Ashland’s D is maybe Historic

For those in the update thread concerned for ATLCat having to be on parent duty while the wife works on Semi Finals night, the two year old is down (he is the easy one) but does this look like the face of a baby who is going to let daddy watch football?

Told you schedules don’t really matter. Ashland was the more physical team.

They definitely were tonight!

I think the Tomcats bring the hardware home if they repeat this focus!

And your Baby is so cute.

Thanks!

Nice win for the Tomcats.

Side note... I don't think we see Belfry back in the Semi's for a couple years.

I may be wrong, but with the departure of Coleman, Mounts, and Dixon alongside some veteran linemen... the Pirates had a dip in the depth of talent working it's way forward.

The good news for Belfry is help is on the way. They will have an excellent Freshman class coming up, but Belfry may be on the verge of seeing how the other half lives in 3A starting with tonight when Ashland proved the better team.

Great win Ashland!  Good luck in Lexington!

Very good season Belfry!

Congrats to Ashland!
