Ashland is enjoying quite a run in sports.    Their bb team was undefeated last year, as I recall.

So why is the football team called Ashland and the basketball team Ashland Blazer? Just wondering?

Don't forget their own website calls them Paul Blazer High School and/or Paul G. Blazer High School.

In NEKY we just call  them Ashland but technically they are Paul G. Blazer. But to me they are Ashland in any sport.

There’s been talk for a few years of wanting to change it back to Ashland High School as most members of the Blazer family have pasted or no longer live in the area. 

When’s the last time Belfry hasn’t scored a TD in a game? I know someone said JC held them scoreless for a half this season just like Ashland did.

You don't have to go as far back as you might think. Kettering Alter (OH) shut them out last year.

Very underrated player. He was as valuable for Ashland as anyone else on the field the other night.

Lol forgot about that game, point is It  doesn’t happen very often. Ashland’s D played lights out Friday Night. Time to do it again Saturday Morning.
