I agree, I felt had KY used the backfield they had, they would've ran away with the game. Some guys who I'm sure were chosen to play defense still could've went in and played a down or two of offense (vice versa), for example Caleb Watkins would know how to run power or sweep. Raglin the same, Rees, needed a lot of carries as well as Hayden. Shocked Amis didn't see anytime at QB considering the formation used was a Pistol set, the entire time.

:laugh:NL won fair and square. No need to replay excuses. It is a good call for NL, is it up to them to look out for PC's best interest? PC is a regional champion, this will give them the opportunity to schedule someone of their caliber I suppose.

Get stronger, improve numbers and stay competitive I hear their attendance is usually pretty high at their home games.

Why did he derserve it? Serious question, I obviously cannot follow LO too closely so maybe there is something I've missed but LO has talent, great talent. They had the game won (STATE). They are one dimensional, hence the loss. I'm not saying he isn't a great coach, but I feel there those I named were more worthy this year.

I needed their record for the 1960-1962 seasons. Not sure if that is possible after all this time, without going to the library.

Do we know the alternate players invited in their place?

They won't sell out of tickets. They will sell to anyone I'm sure regardless of attendance because there is a lot of standing room.

Is there anyone familiar or associated with these (I assume) defucnt schools? Hiseville was in Barren County and Stanford in Lincoln County, I believe.

Stadium was full last year, not much room to sit. Standing room around the track area was full also. Get there early, Tennessee's side has much less room than Kentucky's.

I think that was a sticky, so it could just be viewed from top. On the team, you can't argue against any of them, Kentucky had some fine players. I disagree on the coach of the year though.

Not the same setup as competing in Neyland or Commonwealth vs. the entire state of Tennessee's best vs. our entire state. There was also a streak that Kentucky had I believe we had won 6 out of the last 7 contest, and then the overall record since being played in the early 80's. It helps having the Border Bowl though.

Pretty good idea but if a kid doesn't get mentioned in one of these outlets then I'm not sure he needs to be listed: CJ AP BGP KP Class of the Commonwealth SEKC WKC NKFC Mountain Sports All State Numerous other Local Area Awards Most of these name around 90 players each.

I counted 6 players on the entire list from X. That is roughly 30% of the starters. There are more teams and more players around the state also. Everyone can't be mentioned.

Who is James Hill of Harlan County, don't know of one? Can't believe no one from Paducah Tilghman made it.

So what was the verdict?

The money goes to the players, it isn't just payment to the coaches, college, etc. They receive really good meals, lodging, rings, clothing and exposure. Who can not come up with $300? I'm sure every school has a booster club that reserves some money for this, then there are businesses that wouldn't mind either I'm sure for their hometown star to represent them.

Is that the same Breathitt County team that just beat Corbin? WOW, great win for Harlan County!
